Thinks I've seen last few days, Kenny, Sagg, Chris, Ranger checking this thread... viewing this thread, but.... nuttin' (guess they all doing okay) :grouphug:

Ohh.. I get it. It was the remark I made about the men a few pages back. So, they aren't speaking to me now.

C'on guys lets all :grouphug: and make nice nice. I will be that person, I"M SORRY!! I take full responsibility for anything and everything that has taken place for the last 10 yrs. No hard worries or feelings. It's all my fault and I should have never did/said what ever it was that I said/did.

Please forgive me and know I love you even when I am doing/saying stuff that makes y'all mad.

Now can we get back to the part where we all love each other again rettyplease: It don't matter if we get down and dirty and fight in the hall, it don't make a flip that we may fuss and grumble sometimes.

We are family, we stick.

Hi Maura,
He was laying around, until opening day. He has a pretty 'comfortable' set up at deer camp. He can sit in a recliner next to the wood burning stove and shoot a deer out the window. He built it that way. He can be all snug as a bug and hunt without leaving his chair.

He's feeling a lot better but still can't cough or lift heavy stuff. He's taking things slow and easy. One of his buddy's loaded the porch with fire wood, he doesn't have anything pressing to do this time of yr. thank goodness or he would be out there trying to do it.

 

Hi Stars, No, I think it was bc of what I said, pretty sure of it. I was pretty upset about the turn of events that had taken place.

It was a sexist comment and I should not have generalized and said 'you men' which seem to include all the men instead of the couple that I was actually referring to. I should have handle it more gracefully.

That is what I think it is anyway. It could be something else. But, since no one is talking to me about it I guess I will have to wait and see.

hi Mary, Stars, Ranger, Roamy & hopefully Kenny too.. slowly we're regrouping, & as Kenny has a birthday soon, perhaps we should get a big big party going..
great that Lynn is outdoors doing what he loves Mary.. it's fascinating hearing about your way of life.. this time of year is the high spot, getting your winter meat.. it's great that Lynn isn't missing out even if he has to watch from the window.. I think his breathing will improve being out in the clean air, & hopefully will hasten his healing.. those ribs take a bit of time to mend..:sunny::daisy:

Today is my 6th week tobacco free. After 50 yrs smoking, yes 50. I have replaced tobacco with a vapor stick instead. Yes, I still want a cigarette but I am determine to stay away from them.

I can breath much better, a friend called me last week and commented that I wasn't wheezing like I was when she had talked to me previously. I smell better, yes smell better. My sense of smell is stronger. My taste buds are returning and my house doesn't smell like an ashtray. We save around 200.00 a month from not having to buy tobacco too.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna take, this time. Although I do wish it would have been a more relaxed time for me to quit than these past few weeks.

All Hell broke out here in last week or so. October was not a good month at all for The Clantons. Stepson put his hands on me in violence, had to call the law. Renters threatening to leave bc of stepsons wife. Lynn's ribs getting broken. Nope, notta good month at all.

I guess, we all have to go through a little hell to get to heaven.
