And maybe I can offer generalized legal advice and/or musical and comedy entertainment??? Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a services/job bulletin board at the GE store website.
Bill If you get to NYC give me a call (718-624-7788 or 646-263-3363) awe'll get tpgether and then I can pressure you to cast me so I can escape the legal jungle. LOL

    Hi Zev,
Sounds good to me. I think we all have someting of vaule to contribute, we all have learned and grown from our experiences. Old picture of this n that, prints of art work/collouge, posters lifted from picture from the day.. there is a lot of venues/avenues to travel through. Books, plays ect.

Speaking of plays, A play would be eaiser to do then a movie. Any script writers in the house?? Card Readers can set up appointments to read, numerology charts ect, the posibilities are endless. Bead work, needle craft, pottery, jewlery, stained glass, Stones/chrystles, inscence, candles, whatever you make.

Just a few suggestions to stir the imagaination :)

    Blessings

Bill correct me if you think I'm heading in the wrong direction, but I think that if we are serious about setting down our GE memories, whether it be in a film, stage or oral archive format, we have to each start to write down our memories; keeping a special ear out for the conversations we had with each other at the time of the events we remember. Don't be uptight (OR THINK YOU'RE EGO TRIPPING) if what you remember most is what you said because, after we all do this, and distribute our recollectIons our remeMbered words will trigger each other's memories of the event and make them more complete. After a few rounds of this the persons interested in creating the finished product (whether it be a book, a movie, a play, or an oral archive) will be able to more easily correlate the material into a cohesive whole. One of the benefits of this process is that we will discover each other's perceptions of events we have in common.

Nails, If you figure out how to set it up, I'll do a legal advice column (with, of course, the caveat that I am only admitted in NY and NJ) to at least save any of our people with legal problems at least the initial expense, of time and money fior an initial consultation. Until that column gets set up anyone needing inital help can call me at (718)624-7788 or emial me at wlzev@aol,com. All fo my contact info is listed in one of my photos. Please note that I will always reccomend a second opinion by local counsel.

What legal advice do you think we might need? My guess is self-incrimination?

`` It wasn't legal problems arising out of the GE online store (though there may be certain things to do to avoid liabilities. Nor was I talking about any of the old GE business. As far as I remember, for the most part the Statute of Limitations has expired on everything we did back then. (I won't discuss any of that on this forum only on a land line) I was talking about general contemporary problems everybody runs into e.g. real estate, injuries, arrests, etc.. I have non-craft skills that I can offer if needed.

Hello, I can't remember whether I was Taurus Debra or Debbi. I was in GE 72-77 and was Scorpio Kenny's partner (and later Ranger's) I am a tie-dyer these days (since 1980) and a charter schoolteacher. I do my best to be my hippie self as a public servant. Kenny and my son Demian is now 36. I am now a mother again, raising my partner's ten year old son. I live in lovely progressive Arcata CA.
I was a belly-dancer for many years, but darn, hurt my knees and had to stop dancing.
I remember dancing naked on tables at parties at the white house. I also have fond memories of the freestore and recycling center and making patchwork leather in the workshop. I remember going backstage with the family to all those great rock shows. How young and sometimes clueless I was back then!

    Chuck,
I am well and happy living on our farm in NE Texas, Marty lives about 12 mils from me. She thinks of you fondly as do I, with a warm heart and gentle feelings of kindness from days gone by.

You always had a big, beautiful smile for me and I appreciated it then and now. Thank you for the kindness you showed to Marty when she was battered by sorry excuse of a human being. She still bares the scar on her head. But out of the bitterness of the event, some good came out.. as the scar is the constant reminder of how much love that was given to her during that time of need. It brings a lump in my throat to recall such compassionate hearts.

I hope karma has been good to you for the kind deeds you did/do

    Bright Blessings Chuck

Lord, it's been 40 years. Somehow I knew that it might happen on the internet. Howdy!! 40 years of full moons and here in October 2009..... Don't know where to begin. My name is David. I first started living with the Good Earth folks before we were a "church." :) I came to SF in early June of '69, and lived with Good Earth while we were still in a couple of flats up on Fell Street. I was part of the original group who moved into 1915 Oak that year. I stayed there until some time in April of '70. The girls called me Spacey David, but Gypsy like to call me "The Bourgeoisie," because he knew I hated it.

I have a good memory and a lot of memories of that time. Want to share with y'all about those days. I think I have a photo of me from back then. How do I post a photo?

    Stay High and Love God.

    David
