Oh. I did get a flower pot on the porch and I put a peach and a pint of whole cream in it just to see want will happen.

If the pit was in the peach it mayhaps grow in the pot and you can transplant it into another pot as it needs root room. I give my apple tree milk w/ honey in it. It does bring on the fruit in a most magnificent way.

I met cyril and nancy..i was asked to make the meals every week with nancy and we first would go shopping,,i thought she was the coolest lady..then she show me vegetarian meals to cook..i remember her being pregnant and it was summer of 71...also she had an infant in the baby carriage..i remember cyril entering his collage in an art show on the panhandle

Are you the missing Jehene that others refer to as the missing Good Earth Jehene? If so than I think that you have some old friends around here someplace. You're name mentioned in some earlier pages right here.

Book is being built. everybody has edited copies of their own stories. A dozen people with a dozen tales to tell make a big book. You can add to this. A few tales can become supplemental retirement money for ever. And for you too.

Got anything from Haight Street that the 20 somethings would trip out on? Hot romance, sex drugs and rock and roll. Flower child. Hard times. Good times. Whatever?

Just like making a hippie soup, we're putting it in the pot. I'm a professional editor with the right software for real books.

An Albatross is a big sea bird with very long wings. Unwieldy. Off balance. Wobbling. Super long.

They are considered by humans as awkward because they wobble about during their take off, because they have very very long wings. They are bigger than pelicans and their wings are twice as long.

Picture a goose with the twenty foot long wings of a condor. How weird?
An Odd critter.

Basically, LIFE and Folks in general. Philosophical. A this is how life works, kind of thing.

Certainly not you. And of nobody in particular. Just people.

Was sad about Johnie, and I put that out there with regard to making bad choices in life. (And Habits. Whether heroin or sameness. Rut.)

Maybe something to ponder...the albatross, when born spends its first bit of life on the ground eating what mother and father give it and its wings grow big, long, and clumbsy.....When the Albatross finally figures out how to use its wings to fly it takes off and DOES NOT LAND for the next 4 years!!

Some things take time. To master a skill that you have never done may be scarry at first and then when you begin to feel like you have mastered the skill you feel good performing the skill. Not all can immediately jump into something that they have never performed. Give it time.....it ain't over yet!! You now have jehene JUST discovering the "Idea of the Book".

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but there is a domance in the writing and that may make some feel intimated as to how to start or where to start to share their story in the written form. Mankind always has special people who carried the stories of the past.

Sometimes these people were chosen and forced to learn the storys of the tribe. Then they GREW and responded to the need to continue to carry the songs of the tribe to the next generation. Then man began to write!!

To be a "Scribe" who can easily write down storys of the past to pass them on is not an eaisly attained skill.

Like the Albatross that takes 4 years mastering the ability to fly, survive, and live before it touches land again to pass on the past to ITS next generation, some members of a tribe may find it difficult to learn to "scribe" their storys.

Continue to give them time, guidance, encouragement, and maybe even offer to archive their spoken word if they choose to provide it as it is so much eaiser to speak your mind than "Scribe" it down.

When you read something that may seem awesome and you also see that it is done by only a few you may be afraid to provide/add to the story. You may not feel it can be as interesting as what you have just read!! If forced it is always easier to back away than move into the flame!!

OPPs did not know this post would be that big! LOL Just a thought as I pass by on a cruise of what has been happening here!!

Your first tale was brilliant. I loved the real adventures. I'm still dieing to hear how you wend your way to Woodstock and the spaces before that and after that. You of all people have some real tales to tell. And yes I am still wondering about what happened NEXT. LOL

And you and the rest of us are "Special". Hence, we're it.

I've also been waiting with great anticipation for the Next Installment from both Sag Darel and Zev, where they each left our readers standing on the sidewalk looking at the front door of the Blue House. And their First Impressions, and what they discovered there. They each wrote such terrific build ups. (Getting their.)

The simple truth is that we all tell a great tale and we all write really well.
And as I've said before, it is each author's individual writing style that makes the book a terrific read. The variation makes it cool.

Ranger has been reading through the stories and calling me and Cakes with his thought and telling us his own stories too. He has a few stories in the book right now. I'm confident that he'll do more.

I think that there is a very fun component to learning more about one another. Each of us finding out more of where the rest of us all came from and had done before. That is eye opening and neat.

If more of us would bother to read what we all collectively have put together so far, I think that more of us would be into it. Totally into it. However, most have yet to look into reading anything at all. And that is sad.

You've been in production all of your life, Tillerwah. What if no one looked at the production?

This is the first step in the Festival Dream. Wind shield, a Small P.A. system, and A.C. Generator. Then DO IT!

Would you want to make a living from ticket money from a festival? I would. I can think of a lot crummier ways to make money.
