Well damn Kenny, first for the record i have never been a professional typist, just took it in jr.high and high school... I am making an outline in my head and it looks like it is all about sex, drugs and rock and roll but don't know if I want to admit some of the insane things I did then ...lol, like it matters now. Ranger says he will try to write some stories down...he has a ton of them as we know...actually i could probably write them down since he repeats them so much I have to remind him that he already told me that story a dozen times already! Good to see everyone here and will be in touch with you soon Kenny.

I totally Love You, Rita. That's funny as shit. I laughed my guts out.

"but don't know if I want to admit some of the insane things I did then ...lol, like it matters now."

    Of course!

Then again, nobody says that you can't go all schizophrenic on this project. Some stories are in your name (or nickname) and some stories are written by your alter ego. You can make up another character for yourself that appears to be someone else.

This applies to any of the gals out there, (Hint, Cakes.) Or guys.

Rita, just create a Nom de Plume.
    A Pen Name.
"Rockin' Tits" Lust Junky, Commune Crazy, Sweet Young Thing. Chick Trouble. Or Cindy, Jane or Tess.

How 'bout "Salacious Sally." "Cancer Kitty"

Samuel Langhorne Clemens used the aliases "Mark Twain" and "Sieur Louis de Conte" for different works.

I'm thinking of calling this whole work Nonfiction but some stories may possibly be colorized by artists license to the point of Fiction.

We will all review all of the stories and be able to make any last minute changes before a book is printed. Not to worry. If we decide to, we can Pull All of the Names out of the stories. However names are a big pat of the color of the book. I mean you couldn't make up a name like Sleaze John if you were trying.

    Know what I mean? :sunny:

"…first for the record i have never been a professional typist, just took it in jr.high and high school..."

Damn. That's to bad. We (I) may need to pay someone as a typist, before this is all over. Like for the final phases of putting a book together.

    Hey Ron,
Good to see you man. I hope things are settling into your favor. We are here for ya, just holler if ya need sumpin, or just need an ear.

Kenny, I would like to see just the GE peeps n friends in the first book and then maybe add the rest of the Haight as the trilogy unfolds.

Like Rita says, somethings we dont want our grandchildren reading... what we done, who we done and how we done em'. The men, it's fine for what they done, who they done and how they done em' cuz men suppose to be ricus, but as we are trying to teach our grandkids how to be cool we really dont want them trying some of the things we did :) Or Do WE... bahahahaha

Yeah, I hear that. But the real simple answer is to not hand the book to the grandchildren. Ya Think!

I mean, My grandmother was a fan dancer in vaudeville traveling on a show circuit from state to state by train. And at some point in her life she was a gun moll and has a story about jumping a ferry out of Detroit getting away to Canada with the cops chasing them.

    LOL

But she chose not to tell me until I was 26. How old are the grandkids? Besides, you said yer family can't read. LOL

We will keep it GE, some Nasties and some friends. I'd love to have Beachdog throw in some Family Dog tales. Or at least some general "what it was really like" explanation for the general public to savour. Color. Colorful stuff.

Use a second Name, my dear. They won't know who that is. Right????
You can chose to only write about what you chose to write. Okay?
I don't expect anyone to talk about anything that they don't care to.

I think of it like this. We can have the Hottest Best Seller Ever!
Or we could write a children's book. No drugs, no sex, no rock and roll just Barney the Dinosaur songs. Twinkle twinkle little star. How I wonder what you are.

Besides, we can make a children's version if you want to. You can help me to sort that one out later on. Love

I'm not really, really worried about it Kennykins. The kids want me to tell them stories all the time.. hell, my grown cousins want to hear them too!!

I was a Burlie Q dancer.. I was a Follies Dolly when I moved to Underhouse. I quit dancing when they ripped opened my belly taking out my gallbladder. It left a terrible scar and ruined my dancing carear.. I had been dancing since I was 15 ( with my sister's ID) It was fun while it lasted :) Mybe I will write a story for the book about it and send it to ya.

I think that you had mentioned Follies Dolly to me a long time ago as I recall. Now that's a good pen name for a few of those tales.

Seriously though, if we get a big book together I can delete a bunch of stories in order to make you a special copy. That's not all that hard.

I was talking like all the hippies being in the book.. in my mind I see the first book being of tales from GE and FRIENDS all that are here and not here are friends am I right??

I will send up a pm on the points I am trying to relay

Honey, I'm not so sure that you could really call Ranger GE. We'd have to ask him. I never had thought to ask him. I only know that Sag Johnny spare changed them for the G.D.I. Johnny took me there only once and we talked to folks on the door step.

I, myself, was fairly Gypsy back then and lived in one place for like two years or one year. This story is written for the book. I think that I was in GE for about a year and a half. Then Tahquitz Canyon for 3 months or so, with Debbie. A year later we went back to GE but things had changed and we couldn't find a space (a pad). We ended up in Classified Land (and I'm not talking a section of the newspapers.) where Johnny had taken me once.

I fell into the "Down Home Nasties." The later rendition. Beyond that period I met Ace and Danny Turtle. That were always around but I met them each later. They were later associated with the Nasties. Don't believe that they were GE but were around and friends of mine and you said that you ran with Ace one time. So, Friend.

I'm looking at your Truck Driver Story. You going to S.F. That would be cool. Already written and could also be expanded into a longer story with more of the tail and some before where and want you where coming from and after. What happened when you hit town or that could easily be the Next Story.
    I'm thinking:
Pre-GE, GE, Post GE, and people that most any of us know well (friend). As once was said, "People that you would have hang in your living room any old time." In the case of Underhouse: And not have to throw out. You get it.

I'm just afraid there are not enough GE folks to do a big book. At least enough hippies that get up off of the floor and do anything all week long week after week. You know. Lifestyle!

Like my son who hangs and does nothing month after month. The same old computer games on a 12-year-old computer and their garden four whole months out of 12. Different strokes for different folk. Wish I could get him to write. My point is that some folks have to have something to keep them busy and others would just as soon lay around and do nothing all of the time. Me? I'm a Pro at both!

E-mail that top secret link to trusted friends only, and keep a list of who. Please. Thank you. Cool. Send me a list for me and you to track both listed. I'll show you mine if you show me yours. Thx.

P.S. I'm back to museum and sound. You know.

    Kennykins,
I think the Book will fund the museum. Yes I see what you mean. It's so difficult to define who was who and what houses were GE or another tribe, but it is all the same tribe bc we all did whatever it was together. We were there together and stood together, had eachothers backs.

If it when down in our hood we were involved.

OK, let's do it. How-a-bout this. The beginning where Seven et al' decided to start a commune and how it developed, Pre Ash Valley and then after the seperation of the family when everyone headed for the hills. What happen to GE and how it evolved into a wider spread family tree. Which encludes the folks that came at that time.

It's The Evolution Of The Hippie.

    IDK, I'm just trippin' :)

I'd love to get Steven in on the tales and Money. You get him to go get a library card so that he can type on a computer. I talk to him about library cards already. And yes he has the Church paper according to him.

Let's do a book about hippies and we can include two people who happened to be in GE for a while who write about their whole life and the little GE part. Cause that's all I got is a little GE part and a whole lot of other.

And you told me that you have the 2 GE stories that I placed in the layout and you told me that you have 2 more GE stories that you can write. So, that's likje 4 stories. In book layout, that maybe 3 book pages long.

Sounds like a hippies book to me. Only 6 GE stories out of 500 book layout pages. That's maybe 4 1/2 or 5 pages out of 500. If you really want an All GE book then you had better start making up a whole lot of real good stories and absolutely finish one story every day for a year 365 days. Okay?

To make 500 book pages in layout they all need to be two Word pages each at least. That's show biz. Oh Well. :2thumbsup:

museum is on again! Stay tuned.

Go back to you're book e-mail and check the link again. I added a one column KILLER ROCK AND ROLL TALE. THE MAX.

How many of you can write a short and very colorful description of the Underhouse for me. Mr. Machine? Any others?

I want a cross section of dramatic Colour, from the worst outside prospectives to the picture from the inside, looking outwards. 6 to 12 people. What fun.

I'll spin it all into one story for us you each get payed. Your part. I'll send it to you.

This is going to be awesome.

Also need everybody's different points of view as to how YOU would try to describe to a novice, exactly what the F Good Earth was. Along with some nooks and crannies. Mouseman? Stacey? Anyone? HELP!

    LOL
    I quit.

Yes I do. I met him in 1967 and moved in to 1891 page street. We were a couple for awhile. He had the middle room. I had the far left room. I have many fond memories of living there with my son Paul. I can see him with his fro and leather fringe vest playing that harmonica.

Life sure has a way of letting you know you're alive. We stumble through it never sure if we made the right move. We find out later when Karma comes knocking on our door. Karma is real tricky as to it's timing. Sometimes you get instant karma and other times you can wait what seems a lifetime and still never be quiet sure why karma has shown it's precents. It could be something you did or something you didnt do.

No-one excapes karma, it's always with us, from ancient ancestery to right now,. Karma could take 1,000 yrs to catch up with you but catch up it will. It may hold riches beyond belief or bring misery and disenchantment.

It all depends on how we live and how we think, what we did in our past lives and what our ancesters did. I think karma adjusts to your age. Like if you're a child without full understanding of what is going down or if you're an adult and fully aware of your actions.

Karma is not random, it chooses it's quary with the utmost discrimination. There are times when karma dishes out huge loads in one sitting and there are other times when karma barely leaks out a drop.

There are some that seem exempt from karma. The ones that prosper from another's hard work, the ones that bring harm to their fellow man, the ones that lust for greed and power at all expence.

Altho I may not know why these ones are allowed to suceed I am also not privy to what the otherside holds for them either. I have noticed ( who hasnt) There are powerful ones being exposed for wrong doings and karma has shown it's force and is bringing them to their knees. Both in the political and religious arena.

If our great leaders are the source of the corrputness in our society, what can we as people do to correct the direction they are leading us in.

Who are we to trust when all that are set before us to chose from are all the same and went to the same schools and are all in the same clubs and have dinner parties together. They are the rich. They buy their way with doing little of the work.

They are like children as they fuss and fight like someone took their favorite toy. They take from the ones they are sworn to protect.

What can make them see, what can move their souls. Who will be the one that is chosen to rapair the damage done. What are our roles in bringing about this change.

In our attitudes are we helping or setting ourselves back. Are we achiving our goals for Peace and Harmony within our own beings let alone for our communites. Do we poscess the substance that holds people together in Spirit.

Can we bring out the Love and Faith in humanity and unite them as a nation. What can we contribute as individuels, what can we do to transend our Good Vibrations into the Universe to balance out the negitive with the positive.

Such a burden we have on our shoulders

    peace be with you

    Sweet Heart,

I really need to get with you and teach you how to sing and dance through life! Really.

Aren't we the ones who ran away from those people? We didn't want to play their games. We left. We started our own games. We loved and lived. Come with me and learn to dance through life. It's easy.

All of those people that you talk about? They'll burn in Hell. Karma. And I'll be the first one praying to God to release them. And he will.

Me! It's my job to dance through life. Come and Dance.
