The sooner we can get the cash together the sooner Ranger and Rita are safe. They are in a real bad way right now and we all need to pull together and help where we can. It could get worse bc Ranger NEEDS Heart Surgery asp. This are our Brother and Sister we're talking about. Human Beings. They are old and not in good health.

While we are snug in our homes eating our Blackeyed Peas, they are stranded in 9 degree weather with no way to get warm and little nurishment. No gas to run the heater in their van. I for one can not sit idely by and do nothing. That is why I am pleading for your help to save a couple of worthy lives.

Thank you so much Chris and Katkit for the love you've shown. If we all pitch in a little we can solve this problem and if we cant then we aint who we think we are.

I know things are tite for everyone but it's in the Giving that we Recive, so even if it's a few bucks, it all adds up to a whole bunch of LOVE. I am willing to sacrifice a little for a few minutes and give. It's not gonna put me inna bind. Tax refund is just around the corner for ones that still recive them. Hit the penny jar and roll em up n cash them in and send it. Collect some cans and send what you get. Make it a fun thing.

I think he was from Chicago he had that red ford van and was doing the plumbing thing out of it. pretty organized at the time.

My name was "Mr Machine" or something close . I ran the Good Earth store on Haight st did some electrical work and fixed things. I lasted until Feb 72 in the 1772 Haight st house . At the time the coke dealing was rerouted through my bedroom. It looked only a matter of time till the cops kicked in the door so I had to go. i stayed with Issacs and Libra Nancy in Denver a couple of years later but moved on. So give me a shout if we can cross brainwaves

I'm Nailcakes, I lived at Underhouse on Cole and Oak 70/74 . I was around the Haight from 66/77. Welcome Home to the Good Earth, we are happy you made it.
Are you talking about Herman Da Plumber? Yes I agree it was very sad news to hear about his passing over. He was a goodun and a well loved brother. He is remembered warmly by all that knew him and brings a smile to ones heart in the rememberence.
I hope you will post more and join us at the table and share the bounty of love that is laid before us.
