First of All...


I have ordered from several different places online, pipes, bongs, grinders, scales, hookah's... and i have NEVER had any problems with any company...


UNTIL NOW....


I saw this site and thought to myself " these certainly look like some nice pieces , definatley for the price"

I purchased a water pipe and paid credit card... paid for 2-3 days shipping.... well.. first of all. When i first placed the order with 2-3 day shipping, it says "Order Status: Will ship in 4-7 days"

so.. First of all obviously the shipping is a ripoff in of itself.. then you deal with actual "Customer Service" which there IS NO customer service, The Only number for these Gypsies is a prepaid Cell Phone, yes thats right... A CELLPHONE !?? thats there main business number? That should automatically send up a red flag with these jokers,

Ok... So.. i pay for 2-3 day shipping... it says will ship in 4-7 days.. OK FINE IM FINE WITH THAT..... BUT. 4 days... 5 days.... 6 days..... 7 days..... 8 days.... 9 days.... 10 days.... NOTHING... so i call this " Business Number" and still... NOBODY ANSWERS, I leave a message... and guess what ? NOONE Calls me back...

So..

I now send a e-mail to these jokers.... and NOTHING .. NOT ONE REPLY...

So obviously by this point i know ive been took for a ride...


So, i try to phone them again ... and NOTHING just the same voice message , with the Redneck Trailer Park Trash guy saying " We cant answer the phone" ...


So... Now.... 11 Days... NOT 1 PHONE CALL... NOT 1 E-MAIL RESPONSE.. .. I mean c'mon at least aknowledge me... Send me a message somthing, it doesnt have to be elaborate.. just tell me " youll look into it, SOMTHING ... ANYTHING!?!?!


So i got took .. recieved nothing..... and i intend to contact the Better Business Bureau , Attorney General... My Uncle is a Congressman, I hope that i can get these CROOKS shut down, The Sherrif in Lynwood Told me the same thing this gentleman below states on ripoff report.com

I read in an High Times interview with Tommy Chong that the DEA had put someone in Chong's business that was sending them the glass pipes through postal mail and that is why they arrestted him.

there was no one set up within the company that was an agent.. if you watch AKA Tommy Chong.. he explains what happened.. a dummie shop out of PA called chong glass to order pipes.. they denied them because it was illegal to ship to PA.. over and over this company called trying to get them to ship.... they said no.. the company said then they will come out there.. purchase the items and take it back with them.. which is legit cuz its not chongs responsibility then.. well they bought half the warehouse.. left without taking the purchase.. called back and asked if they would ship it still finally out of frustration they shipped it.. and thats when they got busted.. it was a total setup for sure and boarderline entrapment

it was not at all how it looked online and it was cracked really bad
black dragon glass had nice stuff fast shipping but I do not know the glass seemed to crack after being used for long sessions

 

Good... As did i, These guys are very deceptive, i know some folks have actually recieved their order, but as the other gentleman said, not what he ordered, or it was cracked.

This is just not a way to do business, The majority of people who order from them get Totally RIPPED OFF , while others actually recieve somthing , but its flawed , or wrong.

I ran a business for 6 years, and i can tell you first hand, that is surley not how you do it.

Hopefully guys we work together, and get this scum put out of business,

P.S. its been about a month now, when i call or e-mail Chunky Glass, i still get No Answer to my phone calls and No Reply to my e-mails. Hmmm Great Customer Service AHAHAHAHAHAA.... Do not fear. in the end WE WILL WIN Chunky...

 

I too filed a complaint with the BBB.

I ordered on 9/11 and sent my money order that same day. I didnt even get the email with the order status webpage until 10/02, and the status since then has been "Will Ship Within The Next 24 Hours". I even paid for the priority shipping.

I have left a dozen detailed voicemails over the last month and a half, as well as several emails. Not a single reply to anything.

The report took only five minutes of my time to file, and if enough of you who are having problems with CGP take the time to report in, we can all get resolution of some sort.

Guess im one of the lucky few then..........i've ordered numerous pipes from them and only the very first one i ordered didn't look like it was supposed to. All the rest looked just like the pic on the site and wasn't cracked or anything.........guess i won't be sending them money again if they are getting this many complaints tho.

 

I tried to start a new thread about our stories and it was deleted by the administrator! I'm just trying to look out for the other members on this site.

 

Well guys I tried to create a thread which would save other members from being ripped off but it was deleted by some administrator or moderator. The thread was well written and contained nothing but the truth. Apparently the higher-ups on the site had a problem with the thread for one reason or another. They also deleted several other posts by me for some reason (WTF?)? Later guys.

 

I wish I found all these complaints prior to placing my order. They definitely took my money, now where's my product?

EDIT: My piece came after all, albeit almost a month after I ordered it...so they do send the product, but there was zero communication during the entire process, which led to my overreaction, especially after reading so many posts where others claimed to be ripped off. I just wanted to come back and edit this post in all fairness...

 

Hey clown shoes... We've been in business since 1999. We dont rip people off. No way would we still be here if we did.

Its a few morons like you who create all this bullshit. Then people see this shit and freak out and post their own BS. But no-one ever follows up to say they got their orders. Its so easy to condemn, but to admit you we're wrong isnt so easy apparently.

Just an FYI to EVERYONE! WE DO NOT CHARGE ANYONES CARD UNTIL WE SHIP. THERE IS WHATS CALLED A PRE-AUTHORIZATION AND SOMETIMES A HOLD IS PLACE ON THOSE FUNDS. BUT WE DONT NOT ACTUALLY CHARGE ANYONE UNTIL IT IS PACKAGED AND SHIPPED!

Please also understand we receive a 100+ orders everyday. There are bound to be some issue's. Less than 1%. And hand blown glass art is not an exact science. There will be color changes and slight variations in every piece. Thats the nature of the beast.

Also, if you blow up my phone or call me at home. You wont get any service. Just like ass-hat here said. You will get your order cancelled.

Finally there are only two of us, we work 16+ hours a day. We try very hard to keep up with all of this. We have tried hiring people with horrible results. So have resolved to do it ourselves. If you cant be patient we are not for you.

PS How about a post where people have received their orders and what they think of it?

Either way.. shitty communication between a company and it's costumers will not have me doing any more business with these folks... yes i have ordered from them and thank god i did not have the hassle these folks have had... but i have more reliable sources

 

I really don't understand. I successfully purchased 2 bubblers from CGP 5months ago and i recently have ordered a new 22'' waterpipe that looked AWESOME, i saved so long for it, and i love the bubblers. So WHY cancel my order when i could of sworn i was just calling to check up on my order for the second week of my order status still reading Will ship in 1-2 weeks. i was just curious not even angry or worried. i have/(had?) faith in this company. i want to give them my money, in exchange for amazing works of art. no doubt your busy but could you guys help me out?

I ordered a piece from them priority shipping December 26 and didn't even get a confirmation e-mail until two days ago. I'm glad I'm getting my piece but the time it takes to get there is a little ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if people were getting scammed.

Figured I'd register just to say the opposite.
I placed an $70 order on the site on the 2/2/09.
On the 7th, I received an email with a link to a page that had the "status" of my pipes. The status was "Will ship in 1-2 weeks"
On the 19th I received another email saying it shipped and it had a tracking.
Yesterday, the 21st, I received my pipes. No mistakes, amazing colors, and exactly what I wanted. The colorways aren't the same, but I like them even better.

There you go. There was no interaction with them, but I just gave it time and they came...just like they said to do!

They aren't a rip off at all. $24 bucks for the bubbler, and $30 for a steamroller, both are high quality thick glass.
