Chrome image problem

Okay, am i losing my mind...or is google chrome making changes as to how you view images in tabs now?
for an example, i would go to google and type in a celeb name such as "Selena gomez"
and then click on "Images" to view all her photos...
but when i click on one of the photos, the image shows in a box to the right, instead of to the LEFT.
like the way it was supposed to be, to the left, but it's to the right, for some strange reason that i can't figure out.
and when i click on "Open image in new tab" the image shows up in center, with a black background.
how do i fix this? it wasn't like this before, and I've been using chrome for a very long time.
i used to be able to click on open image in new tab, and the photo would show up in the left corner with a white background, i don't like this new look about the image viewing.

 

Google images changed their format... Nothing you can do about it.

 

Oh damn for real? and to think that something was terribly wrong with my computer, and i just got it repaired yesterday.

google is always doing updates. i preferred the old image search format too, but no big deal.

 

I am already used to it.

 

I use DuckDuckgo now for image search, it acts like google's image search.

 

yeah its whack and harder for me to post my great memes.

 

sometimes youtube too has transition periods where things change and nothing seems to work. a common mistake is blaming client (=your) side errors and start messing with browser and network settings. keep calm and refresh the page... until the guys fix their errors.
