I hadn't really thought about it yet, till I got to this thread.
Guess a laptop and cell phone would be nice but I ain't counting on getting them.

My son will be home from Colorado for a couple weeks, so having all 7 kids together
for a little while is the best present I can expect. Can ya imagine presents for all 7
kids and 2 grandkids under 1 tree.....WOW Santa better have a big sleigh!

That's a pretty killer christmas list. Those are the kind I would make and get nothing off of.

I see most people want material things.....that kind of saddens me.

Material things are easier to wrap.

I suppose but the non-material are more meaningful. I like presents that come from the heart not from walmart- but I'm kinda corny like that ;)

well nonmaterialy to live in a country i don't have to be ashaimed of (let alone terrorized by, and to me the u.s. is both; shameful and frightning that is)

freedom from both stress AND mundaneness for all is right up there at the top of my nonmaterial list too.

on the tangable side, since it's all daydreams anyway; ...

12 acres and a pickup truck
a self contained trailer and oh what luck
two garden sheds and a septic tank ...

latest versions of autocad and 3ds max with plug ins cloth reys, dirty reys and maybe bones pro
and something to make (my own!)(animation) dvd's with (i can make avi's of up to or a little over 60seconds in lenth at an .8/sec fraime rate, but the files are huge and i'd really like to at least be able to make five or six minuet mpegs)

lets see, i REALLY need a new pair of eye glassess, and a decent winter coat, and a couple of more pairs of pants.

an infinite supply of leggo (and compatable) blox (and similar such items, along with real tools and building supplies) would be really cool.

a cnc milling machine and a place to set it up and use it.

trucks, bolsters and fraims for hernia gauge rolling stock, including power trucks in pre machined kit form if not ready to run

but again i'd need a place i.e. room i don't currently have, for that as well, and/or some way to haul what i'd build with them to where there is.

a decent back pack, folding pruning saw, and eggbeater type hand drill, and a really long roll of insulated wire.
and maybe a couple of more space blankes and tarps.

a little tiney place big enough for me to lay down in a long way from everyone and anything that sounds like everyone.

20 acres, 40 acres, 200 acres of old growth forrest on the side of a mountain somewhere.

oh and did i mention photovoltaic (solar) array panels and batteries and charging regulators and so forth.

hmmm ... a broadband internet connection would be nice too,
preferably one not tethered to landlines if i want to have it out in the boonies somewhere like i do

so looked at either way i just want my usual want:

to live in a world of trees trains computers and solitude
were aggressiveness austentation fanatacism (economic, idiological OR religeous) and the automobile, do not exist.

    more then anything else though,
i want people to stop refusing to connect the dots

    =^^=
