Christmas is stressful

Who else is drinking to get through it?

 

I have no problem getting through xmas but I was planning on drinking anyway.

I stocked up on my christmas alcohol earlier today!

 

What are you guys drinking?

 

At the moment...a Two Hearted Ale. I also have a bunch of IPAs, a full growler from my local awesome brewery and also some of their barley wine which you can only get once a year because it takes a year to brew it.

 

I'm trying to save my alcohol, of course if anyone wants to slip something in my drink, I'll keep it a secret.

Man...we cracked open that barley wine earlier. The bottle looks bigger than it is. You probably shouldn't drink that in pint glasses but one bottle was 2 pints. One for me, one for her. 11.5 abv, $28 a bottle. Signed and numbered bottles. There were only 245 bottles this year. We got a couple. I told my wife to enjoy her $14 beer...I damn sure enjoyed mine.

 

someone gave me a bottle of wine , but Ive not opened the wrapper yet., homemade stuff.. last year was wickedly strong. suppose this will be too..

I know.. I should ., but will probably be headache city to clash with teh beer.. these beers were banging, I should of gotten more double bock. maybe next time..

 

I went to some family party tonight (it was 7 long hours of boredom) and I had around 4 shots, 2 beers, and a cocktail. Didn't get drunk because it was spaced out in the aforementioned hours of boredom.

Going to get some eggnog tomorrow and mix in the whiskey. Mmmm.

 

I'm not even worrying about it. I had a pint of that barley wine and then backed off to the IPAs I've been drinking since about 3 this afternoon. I don't have a concern in the world right now.

Right? I'm going to be hammered in about one more hour. I have this shit worked out. I better take a shower pretty soon.

 

I am so pissed. The Lionel train set I sent my nephew is defective. I bought it on Amazon, which the woman said was opened but unused. So my sister goes to set it up for him and the train is supposed to go along the track at the touch of a button but it doesn't work. I ordered it over a month ago so I'm not sure the seller will give me a refund or anything so I'm really upset. Mostly because I can't afford to replace it if she won't give me a refund. My nephew was going on and on about the choo choo train and he was SO excited about it and I hate to have let him down :'(

 

maybe you tell us what set it is, we can try trouble shoot it for you..
