    Hi all
I am new here and posted this link in the introductions as well.
I wrote the genesis of this song on a December evening last year as I was strumming my guitar to help my boy get to sleep.

This was intended only as a video to share with family overseas but I was encouraged to share it more widely.

    Simply a Christmas message.

    Peace

As an afterthought I would add the lyrics in case anyone would enjoy singing the song. its in G, is easy to play and would suit a variety of accompaniment.
    CHRISTMAS IN WILLUNGA
Its been a year since last we were together,
You can tell its close to Christmas cause the kids are out of school,
And everybody's rushin' round except the ones in love,
The time for them moves slowly,
    Oh so slowly,
'Specially when it comes tom Christmas time

The childrens' eyes are wide with amazement,
A little one is wondering, whats underneath the tree?
For some its time together, for some its time apart,
The time for them moves slowly,
    Oh so slowly,
Specially when it comes to Christmas time.

    Chorus:
Down about an hour south of the city,
Meet me where the browning hills run to the sea,
You and I can walk among the vales of rolling green,
And I would be your lover,
    Before all others,
Hey will you be mine this Christmas time?

    Nothing even time lasts forever,
'Still I just have to know how the waitings' been for you?
Cause everybody's rushing round and I'm just missing you!
And I just want to be there,
And let the time move slowly,
Hey will you be mine the Christmas time?

    Instrumental and Chorus

    ….
And I would be your lover,
    This Christmas in Willunga,
Hey will you be mine this Christmas time?
