If you're a Christian and celebrating Halloween you are displeasing God. From its inception it is pagan, demonistic and tops in commercialization.
Same for Christmas (Saturnalia pagan Roman or Horus Egyptian) and Easter (Eostre eggs and rabbits, celebration of queen Ishtar... They didn't even bother to change the name).
All Hallows' Eve isn't at all Xtian? Really? Without wholesale theft of others' practices, there would be no xtianity.
God is pure love.....and in that,t does not care if anyone celebrates Halloween or not or what they do.....Unconditional love is unconditional love. Any other dialogue is just control .
I have No beliefs Other than the Church of Live and let live ! What harm is there in those things ! cant you be a christian if you let your Kid dress up as a Pumpkin ? Life is too short for all these Fuckin rules
I mock those who believe in evolution just as much, science is the people's new religion. Christians are generally easier targets.
It's your conclusion that they're displeasing God. To most others (including me) this is utterly bogus. People think they're such smartasses for pointing out the pagan origins of certain christian holidays/celebrations, then they ruin it by connecting something completely unneccesary to it And sure it is commercialized to the max. But that doesn't mean every christian caters to/is 'guilty' of that fact. So all in all the OP is a charged statement based on a personal conviction. Which (if I may take the liberty to point out) came form a person that used to be notorious on this site for starting such threads in a former incarnation In fact, I think he started a thread about the same issue some years ago (but there have been several smartasses adressing this 'issue' and then conclude 'the inevitable' )
Why Christians? Shouldn't it then be "no one except for pagans should celebrate halloween, christmas, easter, or any other pagan holy days..."
