Sorry it has been so long a wait for me to reply.

There is no "Might be" a threat if a person breaks into my house. I am not going to ask the intruder "Excuse me sir, are you here to use the phone or to kill me and rape my wife just to steal my tv?"

You have no understanding of my user name. So don't judge me. Want an explination? I have been banned from these forums so many times for preaching the truth and upsetting the flow of things that I made this name because of how I slip inside unoticed, like a bandit. Son't you feel stupid now?

Yes, Jesus did preach to turn the other cheak. Hence why when a moron cuts me off I ignore it. Or when someone shouts out obscenities to my wife, I ignore it. Again you judge what you do not understand.

I don't live in fear. I live in reality. You may have grown up in a peacful neighborhood, but I didn't. There are a lot of non christians out there masquerading as Christians.

maybe because we dont see jesus as somebody to follow. just because you see someone as the messiah doesnt mean he is to the rest of the world.

Well, not exactly. Accepting Christ as savior is the first step to becoming a Christian, and saves a person's soul initally, but one also has a responsibility to try improve themselves for the building of His kingdom. It takes more than confessing Him the savior with our mouths, because our actions speak louder than words.

Only an individual can know of his standing with the L-rd by how well he follows G-d's precepts. No one else is able to tell you how you are doing in G-d's economy. :)

I don't think that was exactly the question. I think it's more of a statement that people of EVERY FAITH can be hypocrites. (I.E. People who support religious freedom and tolerance for every other religion, except for Christianity... "My religion deserves respect, and yours does not..." I think that's a pretty good example of Hypocracy.)

By the way, if you don't see Christ as a good leader to follow, I suggest that you don't know Him very well. It is indeed your choice not to follow Him, but if you don't even know anything about Him, I'd suggest you learn a bit about His character before deciding that He isn't a fit leader. ;)

Which is a big misconception. No where does it say anyone is exempt from sin. A lot of people assume that by salvation (which most of them don't even truly have according to the Bible) that gives them a free pass to sin.

what a bunch of whinning babies, live life the way you see it to be good,

If you follow christ, your not perfect, you will make mistakes, you will have a hard time changing certain ideas, and ways of life that you have, Your not perfect, you will be a hypocrite at times, you will sound unchristlike. Just remember who you have to justify your self to. Quit trying to defend your faith to non believers, its futile and makes christians sound lamer by the minute. Help those with your knowledge that want to be helped, not those that try to tear you down.

If you dont follow christ, and your here attacking others for what they believe it maybe you yourself should find some kind of faith (one that suits your every sin making you infalible) that you can direct all your energy to.

...If people arent following the word of christ then they cant really claim to be christian can they? Not to say they (christians) cant make mistakes..we are still sinning mortals afterall... but LOTS of ppl believe in a god..doesnt make them christian..demons and satan believe and know there is a god.

About the whole gay thing (why this was moved from hallowed tree apperantly)...Yes,, it DOES say in the bible that homosexuality is wrong (im not trying to start a debate, just stating the fact) However, more importatly the bible calls us to love everyone no matter what and not judge..thats Gods job..not mine. I can be your friend even tho I dont agree what you do in your peronal life is right. Telling someone they are bad is no way to be christlike. God came to save the world not condemn it. Like Jesus said to the group about to stone Mary Magdaline 'May those of you who are without sin be first to throw a stone.'

It really bugs me that lots of Chritians seem to forget that. Unless their life is making it less possible for you to serve God the way you see is right in your own life..take a pill or say a prayer and move on..concentrate on the thigs YOU eed to work on in your walk with Christ instead of pointing fingers. Sometimes Christians look down (in a bad way) on non christians forgettig that Christ didt come for the already saved but to win the lost. I dot know about you..but someone saying how they are better then me ad how im a terrible person int easily gonna convince me to share in their beliefs!

i honestly fail to see the big deal here. humans are hypocritical by nature. i find it comical you cast the first stone. but seen as it's taken "out of context", upon your back it wavers.

God makes fags too. I think hypocracy and blatant lies in the bible are jokes (by God). If god was gonna joke about something, wouldn't it have to have a shade of nonexistence to it? God wouldn't want to actually insult anyone or make them feel like they are excluded.... or would God?

help whoever lets you help them, even those who try to tear you down, is my view.
I agree about defending one's faith, enemies won't believe you anyway, and friends don't need you to.

    god only knows kharakov.

    god only knows.

personally i don't see the big deal with homosexuals or christian homophobes....each to his own.

as long as that doesn't involve open abuse verbally or physically..it's not doing any harm.

They should get the same tax breaks, death benefits, etc. as hetero couples, or else it is discrimination, pure and simple. I am for total equal treatment, written into to law.

    And enforced.

    mmm i agree.

being gay makes one no less human in my view. but i wasn't aware they were not getting the same tax benefits. that would fall into discrimination as far as im concerned and at outward attempt to lessen a human being for what they are.
