I can tell, what you really hate above all things, Biblical truth. And if you can't attack the message, you will attack the messenger. Jesus told us, that when men speak evil against you, we should always remember, that they hated Him first. Not once have I put myself on a pedastle, and said look at me. The only thing I have pointed to here, is the words of Christ, and the evidence discovered. This kind of reaction comes from those who hate the truth, and are so frustrated at their inability to mount an respectable defence, that they lash out in any way they can, to make their opponent look inferior.
America is special in that we are the Nation that God has chossen to help establish the Jews in the land of Israel. God speaks of America in no less than three chapters in the Bible. Jer. 50 and 51. And Revelation 18. God is going to use the Jews in Israel to reveal His Glory to the world. The Jews do not understand this yet, but when everything goes down, the Old Testament reveals that even the Jews will see who their God is at this time. The Jews are not back in Israel by accident, but are flowing in the tide of God's devine prophecies. The world stage is being set up for the greatest confrontation this world will ever see. The powers of good and evil will be demonstrated in ways that will be unmistakable. In the future, the God who has been silent for two thousand years, will roar across Israel, to defend the Jews from the Great Northern army, that will try to remove them from their land. God will literally shake the earth we walk on. You can read about this event in Ezk. chapters 37,38, and 39. God's third day, is not far off. The world will discover, that there really is a Superman, who is the God of all creation.
i dont know these verses by heart, nor do i have a quick reference online on this computer...so i wil check these out a little later when i switch computers thank you for trying to answer my question
You might also check out on line by typing (Babylon America). When God first revealed this to me, there was very little on line about this, not there is lot.
Ephesians 3:20 He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine... He is ABLE. BUt what would we learn if God prevented evil. We would be walking in circles wondering what the point is. That's why He allows it, so that we can recognize what sin and selfishness does to our lives, our relationships, and our world. We are supposed to learn and become better people more willing to reach out in love and make the difference.
well you know, you're not alone. I know strong Christians who don't enjoy the church scene too, and that ok. God never said we had to go to church, just pointed out how important it is that we fellowship with other Christians. That could happen anywhere...the beach, the cafe, around a bonfire, it doesnt matter. I sing in the worship team at my church and sometimes when it's not my week to sing and i go, i feel kinda weird too, I'd rather be discussing God some place else, but i am happy to see everyone there and usually leave feeling refreshed. You dont have to go to church to be a Christian. BUt after you become a Christian, you almost automatically want to be with other believers and it sucks that the most popular place to meet is in a big building with lots of uncomfortable pews, but that's just the way it goes. i'd be much more inclined to living in a commune of Jesus people, lol... or at least having regular good times like hayrides, corn roasts, baseball games, movies, go cart racing, ect!
Christianity is a dead beginning that lead to death, more death, and much more death leading to the inexorable dead end. To believe that eternal life springs from the religion of death, torture, pain, suffering, sin, damnation, and slow life-long dying is absurd.
but dont we all want to live forever, honestly? eternal life does not spring from any of the things you listed. Try all the opposites such as an abundant fulfilling life, freedom, bliss, righteousness!!
For those who know no better, that might make some sense. But my personal experience is very different from your inherited belief. I was killed in an accident at age 6, and I can assure you that everyone transcends this life and the 'soul' is eternal, abundant, fulfilling, free, blissful, righteous. No matter what. I'm happy to email a word doc of my experience for anyone interested. But you know what? ~ not one christian has ever taken me up on the offer! My presumption is that christian indoctrination is so complete that it is akin to brainwashing, and christians are simplt too afraid to find out that the "truth" they are being told is in fact a monumental lie, which is understandable, given that it would totally shatter them. Until the truth is known, belief will proliferate. Know the truth and the truth will set you free.
haha gee thanks if you were 6 at the time, you were too young to be responsible for your actions and you were innocent to God. Of course he was going to take you home! But look, He gave you more time...He must have an awesome purpose for you here on earth. THat's pretty cool. I would like to read your story, seriously. You probably already knew but that's a quote from the Bible, John 8:32
I will only agree that Christianity is a dead end in the sense that it has nothing to do with God, but man's rules. It is quite sad to see.
God could of made a world of robots. He could of even made you love Him. He could of stopped them from killing Him. But God believes in free will. God does not want anyone to be forced to love Him, He is looking for those who will love Him willingly, no matter what. God did not take the easy road out, nor should we.
Your "God" who gives "free will" will kill you and eternally damn you if you don't love him. Some "free will". But what is worse is the idiots who are too stupid to see the self-evident contradiction.
Hell is eternity without God. It is a place each individual sends themselves. The statement that it is free will is correct. You can either choose to be with the Lord one day, or make the decision to be without him. The amusing thing is that people constantly gripe about hell existing, but if one wants nothing to do with God, then why do they complain about a place that offers eternity without him?
