the close proximity magicians are fun for a little while. especially if they're dapper old men who look like they shoulda retired years ago. so sweet.

Chris angle and david blayne are just puppet shows. I dont get how someone can watch a full half hour of someone doing something fake. But i guess thats what everyone is into.

After watching shows and videos on how they do their illusions, they all look pretty phony to me now. Both Chris Angel and David Blaine are mediocre magicians at best, it's just being seen on TV that makes people think they're good. And then you find out that everyone on the show was in on the trick, and they even used wires to levitate. I thought the Amazing Kreskin was really good when I was a kid, but now I can't help but laugh at how gullible some people are.

I do however have to respect some of the slight of hand tricks because they can take years to perfect and requires extreme dexterity of the fingers, but most of the tricks only require a straight face. If you watched that masked magician show where they reveal how they do the tricks, you would know what I'm talking about.



But I did like that David Blaine episode on South Park.
