nothing new... people dump their aquatic pets in the lakes and rivers all the time... Couple Pacu have been caught in the Mississippi around me... Seen gold fish in lakes... Even seen pictures of carp hybrids that spawned with koi that were dumped in the local pond...

Here's a goldfish I found in a trout stream this winter... could see him from 200' away.. surprised a raptor hadn't eaten him yet

we have Bowfin... Which pretty much resembles a snakehead except they are not from the same genus... I'd love to fish for snakeheads.. They look like a blast to catch!

Bowfin are just as aggresive and freaks of nature.. they breathe oxygen, they can live out of water for that reason for an extended period of time(weeks)... 3 sets of teeth... and have been reported to attack anglers and chase them on land

buy her a real nice cast iron skillet (you can find good ones that need a little love at a thrift store) and reseason it yourself. present it to her as an apology, and as a hedge against future disasters. its pretty hard to hurt cast iron.

i still have the pot i boiled dry when my son died. i was heating up water for tea, the copper warped away from the steel.

i think the only positive thing about RA is that often my hands are too stiff and sore to do the dishes, haha.

although i've been doing them a lot lately because i haven't had much in the way of symptoms for the last few weeks, which has been nice.

It's just more ignorance down the road that generations after us will shake their head in disgust... like how today you see old timers throwing carp up on shore to rot... because "they are garbage fish and bad for the environment" yet it seems 95% of those environments are still fine and carp is likely to gain "sport fishing" status within the next decade here in the states because of the

I dont know how all that stench on the shore makes for a nice environment.

after their ponds are out of control with algae , they think. Oh maybe should of kept those fish.

i can only do so much in the heat.. starting to give me belly ache..

eggs., you should have your doctor run a blood screening on you. Id not had real problems with my MS for a while. then Flair up, terrible arm pains.

now they found that bacteria in my blood. treating me with the direct antibiotics. ive to go for another IV treatment in a few weeks.
im in way less pain than I was. using hand tools like I was just doing would have me homicidal. but I seem to be fine now. No tooth ache pains in the joint.
