Chips and Mayo is nice, though for me - it requires a Fish presence :)

I assume we are talking about vegetables and it's not some innuendo I don't understand?

Piping hot fresh fish and chips, plus plenty of Salt & Vinegar - can't beat it!
But as the original questions was Curry Sauce or Mushy peas, then its got to be Curry Sauce. Plus its great for making the last servings from the chippy at 11.00pm after a few pints, when you've got the munchies, just about palatable

Curry sauce. But only if it’s the right kind of curry sauce.

I prefer the clear one. Malt vinegar is too strong for petite moi. Takes my breath away o_O

I buy jars of pickled onions that are 'hot' and spicy with peppers and pepper corns, the vinegar is very 'tame' by comparison.

Medium spice is enough for me. Have you ever tried a phaal? I haven’t for very good reason. A ring-stinger if ever there was one apparently My ex sister-in-law is Burmese and she used to eat those little red peppers, scotch bonnets?, like they were fruit. I don’t get why anyone would do that. I can’t imagine being able to taste anything after that, and not for some time.
