Chips with mushy peas vs chips wit' curry sauce

I love ketchup and mayo with chips!

 

Not just Cod or Haddock, although I am partial to Haddock, but there is another very tasty fish some fish 'n chips shops use - Huss or sometimes called Rock salmon - a beautiful white with no issue about 'bones'

 

Ahhhh - have you dropped a Pollock ???

I only eat cod. But rather like Skate wings.

It is nice, expensive though.

The peas mashed sounds good for whatever reason right now. Just the peas though. By themselves probably have enough carbs for two people, LOL. So, don't need the potatoes.

I've been eating much less lately, and dropped 3 pounds. Here's to 7 more...!

Cook (steam) some sweet potato, parsnip and swede together. When cooked, drain and place in a bowl, add a large knob of butter and mash together - very tasty and very nutricious !!!

 

Curry sauce from the fish 'n' chip shop, Worcestershire sauce at home.

Both are nice, but curry sauce wins it for me. Nice to have that little kick with your fish & chips and a nice block of cheese....damn I am hungry now ☺️

 

I personally prefer pickled onions with my fish 'n chips and use the onion vinegar over the chips too !!!

 

I had mayonnaise yesterday with my chips.

 

Has to be Mayonnaise with chips if no curry sauce present
