Can't say I entirely blame them on this one. http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/may/09/russell-crowe-noah-banned-in-china-religious-grounds
I have mixed feelings really. I'm not altogether happy with state censorship, but that's the way it is in China. Only the Chinese can change that. On the other hand they may not want religious propaganda, as they see it, in Chinese cinemas. Perhaps they just view the Noah story as somewhat silly.
Perhaps that is what they meant by religious concern. Added up the sensors are reacting to fear. May they find ease in their mind.
I think so as well. Those who think entertainment too much propaganda probably have a propaganda agenda of their own.
I'm not suggesting that the Chinese govt. don't have their own agenda. No doubt they want to control what people can see. I can't see that Christianity is going to help the Chinese much. They have their own traditions - Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, Communism which are probably in many ways better than Christianity, or at least better for the Chinese.
I haven't seen the movie but from what I hear from those who are interested in making a religious claim on it don't think it is an accurate representation of it. I anticipate it is more a movie along the proportions of human drama.
its a movie. takin from a book that will be understood as fiction. so the countries that ban it are most likely insane. YOU CANT WATCH SOMETHING MADE FROM PEOPLE LONG AGO IN A WORLD RUNED BY PEOPLE. RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
