I'm interested in learning to speak French and I've been looking into several different learning techniques. One that made sense to me is reading French children's books. By that I mean books that French kids would read to help them better their native tongue. If you know of any that helped you, or maybe you just know of one, if you could post it below and the author that'd be great.

If you're confused as to what kind of books I'm referring to, I mean like a French version of "Dick and Jane" or something like it would be very helpful.

Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

If this is too advanced you could do a search for French Children's Books to find some titles that might be for younger children. Dr Seuss is published in French along with many familiar children's titles.
