i honestly don't think child spacing makes any difference. It's all about their personalities and how they are raised. Do what's best for your family and your unique situation. If your Mama instincts are hollering at you to have another baby, do it! If your gut instinct is to doubt the wisdom in making such a decision... just listen to your heart, the answers are there inside you already.

When I had my first daughter I thought she was going to be an only child, and I thought that that was what was best for her. Then 4 years later along comes a new baby sister, which she was thrilled about. She didn't really have any jeolousy issues at that time, I included her in everything, and she was a great little hellper. Than a year and a a half later, when my oldest was in kindergarden, i had my 3rd daughter and that was when the jeolousy began, i think it was because she was in scool all day, and came home to see that mom was very busy with a newborn and a 1 and a half year old, and that it was hard to squeeze in that free time with her. My middle child was very jeolous of the baby, as she got to take her place on the boob, and take her place in mama's bed......(bad decision on my part) but i made sure that she got extra mom time and it all worked out. My girls are now 8, 4, and 2 and a half, and the only one who ever gets jeolous is the middle one, she is such an attention hog!! NOw I am pregnant with baby #4, and wondering how this is going to work out. We are all hoping for a boy though!!!!!!

The middle child is almost always like that. I'm a middle child. I call it middle child syndrom. The oldest gets attention because he/she is the oldest, and the youngest because they are the cute little ones. And the middle ones? The only thing we got is our personalities....so we gotta make sure we stand out somehow!
