Child Molesters

I think it's gotten much more difficult for someone to molest a child, get caught and repeat the offense. There are now public registries, the police check up on them, they are not allowed to live in many areas. A lot of restrictions now. Plus if they do get caught doing it again, it's likely they won't get out of prison for a long time.

Think about this guy Sandusky. He didn't kill anyone as far as we know and molested kids for decades. Neither did all the priests who molested kids. Why is that do you think?

I'll tell you why. Cause they felt "protected" either by their co-workers, superiors, or thru threats to the kids. So because they never felt there was a good chance of discovery and arrest, they didn't have to kill their victims.

On the other hand, those who aren't protected like that seem far more likely to kill to cover up a lesser crime. This is what is really crazy!

What has happened is society has made child molestation into a worse crime than murder. That is why so many kids end up dead who are abused.

Well hopefully with so much more public awareness about this issue, it will be much more difficult for molesters to commit these crimes and get away with it.

What I found disturbing was how the Penn State Students were more upset over the firing of their coach than the rape of children or how the coach ignored it.

It speaks volumes about the decline of American morality and how crimes against children can just be ignored, if they conflict with big bucks from sports and American hero worship.
