my assignment is to describe how gods law gives me insight to life and how it is above mans law, and it's supposed to be an entire essay... I don't even know what gods law is I don't know what to write about... Do i pretend i'm a christian and agree with it all, or do I openly state that I think it's all bs and describe my own point of view? lol

if you make the non-christian argument it will need to be immaculately written...(lol)

so, if you want it to be a fulfilling class experience, make the logical arguments. if you just want to get through it and pass- use christian based answers. but teachers dont like when you answer differently than they want you to, and they especially dont like when you are smarter than them.

 

Sweet, I emailed the teacher explaining the issue... Its a very religious-based class, all about god... And I know nothing about god, never been to church or read the bible... But I was very respectable and said how I don't disagree with the beliefs, I just simple don't know them... And so he gave me an alternative course outline, I don't have to do any of the assignments provided, but I have to read the entire text book and take a page worth of notes on every chapter...

But hey, that's a lot better in my opinion than doing a bunch of assignments and essays, praising a religion I don't even believe in...

lol not likely, I do have beliefs, they're just not christian beliefs...

This is pretty awesome, I get to come up with my own assignments and outlines, rather than following provided instruction, it makes it so much more fun. I had one class like this in high school, where the teacher just sat back and we taught ourselves and came up with our own projects and assignments, then he marked them based on creativity and accuracy (i'm guessing he came up with this idea because hes a lazy fuck but hell, it was fun)

It was the only class I aced... If every class was like that, kids would be so much more creative and enjoy working and sharing their ideas I bet... Sure some direction and instruction is needed, but the ways typical schools are set up... its all just direction and instruction... which makes them suck.

Speaking of tabs.. I love having tabs at the bar, but it's sooo dangerous haha. I had a friend who would get a tab at the bar, get completely wasted, buy everyone drinks, leave her card at the bar and not close her tab.. and in the morning not remember any of it and have like $300 on her tab hahah. I've always been pretty good on my tabs, though.
