the weather network claims that it will be a low of -11 on monday and -16 (with a 'feels like' -20) on tuesday here. right now it's a comfortable -4 (feels like -10).

 

congrats! hopefully you get a nice bump up the pay scale.

 

here too...a balmy -5...its not that bad once i start working outside...i have the good gloves and parka

Man last night at work was fucked, i was alone with bartender and we got rocked...we were understaffed, kitchen understaffed...not fun...but just as all guests left at 8:45, 3 hispanic/arabic guys walked in and god damn it was good to see some brown skin lol...it sounds horrible...but sometimes when you serve 70 white people its nice to get some brothers in there.

yeah... that's what happens when people think it's awesome to own a fish.. then they get rid of it by dumping it in the nearest water source... Late last year a man caught a Pacu a couple miles up river from here..

 

Pacu are never owned for long. You buy them for a few bucks in the store when they are an inch and soon they are gigantic, pretty much too big for all but an enormous tank. I am surpried one could survive in waters outside the Amazon.
