That song is great! Awesome lyrics! Interesting that you know about it as it was never on an album but only recorded for B side of Once Bitten Twice Shy single. I have it.

 

THAT's the appeal of it!
Hell, the grunge movement was just some fuckers from Washington getting too lazy to give a shit about themselves, and then grunge spawned the pathetic mainstream we have today.

I am a metalhead to the fullest, but with all the energy of Motley Crue and the Scorpions and the downright absurd hilariously 80s lyrics and style of Dokken and Dio, hair metal has got to be one of my favorite genres ever.

It's like watching a B-Movie

now that the 00's are almost over, what do we have to show for it? emo? fuck that.

 

As much as I hold the 80's hair metal close to my heart, I loved the grunge rock era, too.

i still have the showtime vhs recording from the 80s so i dont know if its been rereleased.

skippy (marc price) is also in a movie called The Rescue, where theres stuff goin on. its a really good movie too. its about war prisoners.

 

the coolest (and most superficial) part of Trick or Treat was when Weinbauer tears all the posters down in his room and it shows all the bands in detail. I wanted a room like that all through my childhood. i envied eddie weinbauer. (also cuz he reminded me of my older brother.)

 

Yeah some of these bands were really cheesy, we called them Glamour Rock.
Twisted Sister, Quiot Riot, Def Leppard, Warrant, Europe, White Snake.
And who could forget that favourite "Unskinny Bop" by Poison from the Flesh & Blood album.

 

the cooler bands beat up the glam rock bands.

they were called thrash.

aaaaaaaaaaah! i loved that home movies clip...i dont usually like that show too very much, but i thought that was great. actually, the metamorphosis was one of my favorite things i've read which franz kafka wrote...its been a while, but if i recall properly, the hunger artist was the only thing i liked better. the only thing i liked better which i've read, that is

 

don't be so dismissive...i know a little guy who was at a concert.....fucking security took his bowl and his pot when he tried to smoke...hard to be inconspicuous when youre a little person i guess! so he ran up on the security guy from behind, later on in the show, and kicked him right in the nuts then ran away.....!
