Cheese steak joint in Philly

    when I think of yellow cheese, I think of cheddar or american.......

    but swiss, I think suits philly cheese steaks not?? or maybe the bastardized version that I know.......

    *cries* WHY MUST YOU MESS WITH THE WAYS OF THE CHEESE STEAK!?


    I guess its because this is the most greasy, fattening, gross way that way to make it so that means its the best for some reason???

    I eat them with yellow and white cheese depending on where I go. In Philly you can get them either way but I think some do consider the yellow cheese the "most authentic"

    no wonder all those italians in philly, and new jersey, are so fat...

    deep fat fry beef?? thats odd. Ive never done that. Ive always grilled it.

    I think they use cheddar from what I remember.

    I've mostly had them with white cheese but some with cheddar.

    so white cheese, do you mean swiss?? because thats how Ive always had them.

    I've had them with provolone sometimes. Okay a lot of times.

    I have no idea... its bright orange and called yellow cheese

    MYSTERY CHEESE I TELL YA!

    you know, I must admit... I've been eating carrots this whole cheese steak discussion *hangs head in shame*

    They are good with cheddar or provolone, IMO. :)
