got off work early and spent the time at the bank talking to financial advisers. Set up a new savings account with higher interest, and talked about getting into stalks and bonds.

I'm bad with my money, but i'm not stupid with my money. Years ago I went to the bank and set myself up a savings account, I had no money, but I wanted a savings account, an amount of money I'd always have just in case... Because my parents never set one up for me for anything. As of today I now have $5,000 in it, and thats with literally no interest. When I talk about having no money, I'm talking about my spending/bills money. I do not touch that 5 grand for anything, and i add to it every month.

I don't get interest in that account... like maybe 30 cents every couple months? So I set up a new account, I should be getting like $50 every month just in interest alone, not much but better than nothing. I want to start investing in some bonds and stocks as well, hopefully soon.

I know a bit about this stuff because I took business and financing all throughout highschool, and I always look this stuff up on my own because I enjoy it... I think I want to go to university for this... I suck at math, but when it comes to money I can do anything... Everything we said in my little meeting was so easy and i already knew the majority of it... the only math involved was my annual income and interest rates.. which was easily all done in my head, i might do this i dunno, i just dont really wanna spend my savings on school, you know?

My plan was, I was going to become an electrician if i didn't go to school... Only issue with becoming an electrician is i won't get hired in the winter, especially without experience... and this 'experience' is going to cost me about 7 grand in education and supplies... And I have to wait 6 months to even start that... I don't want to waste anymore time, and I can start university sooner than this... And if i'm smart, i can make more money in the long run going down this route too.. although schooling will also cost more in the long run, difficult choices... i dunno, i'm rambling..

Sometimes you have to spend money to eventually make money. :) Going into finance is a good career as no matter what the times are people need to know how broke they really are. ;)

I have been making fresh salsa with my tomatoes from my garden. It is simply delish! :)

Yes, the box is no longer available on the thread that is closed to delete it. So I can not delete it once a thread is closed.

    Edit
That option is not available. There is no box the check off once you close the thread.

I suggest avoiding stocks...especially since you can't even spell it.

You are more than welcome. :)

WW, the salsa is so good but I think it is addictive. :) I have made 3 batches of it in the last week. Maybe we are all just piggies. :)
