If I lived in the cooler temp places, I'd probably want to be in a warmer climate....the grass is always greener there/wherever I'm not...:)

Today I put some topical flea killer on BB. It seemed there was a LOT that went on her, and it covered a lot of her, I thought. All the way across her shoulders and at least 1 1/2" down her back, there was just this huge rectangular greasy area. She was very fidgety and didn't want that area of her touched, which I didn't want to rub it off anyway. But even touching near/around that area displeased  and then annoyed  her.

The area I applied it to was still obvious on her when she went to bed/to her room (yes, she has a room she goes to at night around 11:30) and I applied it around 6:00.

Do y'all think those flea/tick topical meds sting the animals? On the TV commercials (I KNOW...they are always honest.) those dogs and cats just sit still like they've been hypnotized as the woman - its always a woman - puts the stuff between their shoulders. What's that about?

For the most part, when I've applied it to our animals they act like I've put fire and acid on their skin, usually unable to sit still for the 2 seconds it takes me to get it on there....the cats run, growl and/or hiss if I continue too long and Jack would literally snap at either of us if he knew what was happening for more than 1 second and you didn't have that leash pulled all the way up...quick!

I don't know about stinging but have someone put a few drops of cold liquid right between your shoulder blades and then see how fast you run.

i loathe deep-cleaning. just moved, uncovered, and scrubbed the couch, AGAIN. we gave it to family, they gave it back a few month later, with bonus cat piss! my cats NEVER pissed on it. we need a new couch so bad. one in the hand worth two in the bush though, i guess. its gross though. scrubbing with nature's miracle and vinegar, hoping that will knock down the smell for awhile while my grandmother is here. eww though.

so today i am trying to get the living room and my room clean, and also conquer the mess on the computer desk. and do dishes, but my finger is throbbing. the remaining layer of skin under where that blister was split along a fingerprint line. it hurts so bad. :(

almost done with my second cup of coffee. got up at 2 am (finally getting onto the new schedule) and i have to get the boy up at 6, so he can start feeling ready for school. now that im getting up earlier i can get a better breakfast made for him,he does better with more protein. and he likes eggs, so that works. also homemade waffles, with peanut butter. hopefully he will do much better this year.

Bummer, hope it isn't serious and gets better fast... My knees feel like that all the time without smashing them into stuff. (of course I have smashed them up pretty good at times too)

I havr spinal cord damage on the nerves that connect my left knee so it feels numb all the time...I could stick a pin in it and not feel it......

...I have a big numb spoton my lower back and on my right foot

I also ...from the crash injuries, have a spot on my foot that if I touch it lightly I can feel the sensation of the touch about 2 inches away from where I actually touched it

thanks guys. i hit my head and had pain transfer, i hit it up in my hairline, but when i touched it it felt like a trickle about 2 inches away, down to my temple. i have a feeling this is going to hurt REALLY bad when i get up tomorrow, the swelling has plateaued. i just have to get as much done today as i can, so i can recover and do easy jobs. at least its cooler today, so far.

Former "That '70s Show" actress Lisa Robin Kelly has died at the age of 43, reports TMZ.
According to the website, the actress died in her sleep on Wednesday night at a rehab facility in California. Kelly had voluntarily checked herself into rehab for treatment earlier this week, her agent told the website, explaining that she "had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle."
Kelly was best known for her role as the promiscuous Laurie Forman on FOX's "That '70's Show," though she only made headlines in recent years for a string of DUI and assault arrests.

tbh, I never really cared for the 70s show.
