damn.....found a big hive on my way down my garden path....swear it wasn't there yesterday......gonna go photograph it....its at knee level....i'm praying its a beehive and not something else like wasps......worker bees are the small ones and honey bees are the big ones ,yes,?

 

fucking roomate laying down for 45 minutes, trippin, gets up, i not even pay attention, neither is the girl and he just starts pissing in the fucking kitchen room/ carpet

Don't bees usually nest inside something, like a rotted tree trunk... You may be looking at a wasp.




EDIT: A SWARM will be gone in a few days... a nest/hive is built for the long haul.

 

Mess with them enough and they will drill a hole in your forehead...

 

yeah, I always thought those paper hives were wasps.

 

Not that this has much bearing but what kind of mushrooms did you eat, and how much per person. Just curious.
Also that is hilarious and tragic for your carpet involving your friend. For ire something to pull put at later date for laughs...! (kinda like my penis)

buy a can of wasp kill foam raid...then wait for a cool night to attack


the cool temps will have them sleepy...and at night they are all home

 

definitely not bees. just look at the body shape. and then the nest, google "large wasp nest"

i recognize that wasps and other flying stingers have a purpose in nature, but i scream and run like a little girl. bees i have learned to identify, even mason bees, who dont make honey or wax but do pollinate prolifically. being calm around them helps. but no amount of calm will deter a wasp who feels you are in its space. nuh uh. bye bye.

honeybees will make a new queen and swarm- becoming 2 hives. they will cluster and "regroup" on branches and other things. thats a good time to collect them and give them a home in an accessible hive. if you have a hive and you see a queen cell and you dont want them to split, you have to eliminate a queen.

i want a combination hive, part top-bar, part super. that way i can get honey and wax. down the road though, lol.
