im hoping to grow enough of my own produce next year that i wont have to buy in too much. the northernmost section of the backyard will be dug out, it will probably end up being about a 4 ft height difference, and then the lower section will be amended with some compost, and covered with chipped wood. eventually i want a little studio/ cottage out there too, but thats further down the road. i have 74 feet along the back fence to play with, and im probably going to lower a section 18-20 feet from the fence.

but theres other things i have to work on at the moment. once things settle down i will see about some woodchips. if i can get enough done i might be able to put in and protect a fall crop. we will see.

took bro to get license. he passed he has to go back to school but doesnt wanna after this post im making. him. getting back friend ditched plans others in the works. last day of smoking for a week or two.

MY court case is getting dismissed and expunged i gotta do 100 hours community service and then pay like 500 in fees and fines which is gonna set me back a good bit. Also gotta do alcohol and drug assesment. lol. and a drug test somewhere down the line. so last few rips of bong and done for a week or two for me.....

in Ontario you can pretty much pick any thing and as long as your po approves its all good.....my son did babysitting for some of his and helped an elderly friend do some yardwork for the rest

they offer you value village,salvation army,bingo etc but you can find your own....as long as it helps.....you can pick up trash in the street and it can cout

Went to the Habitat For Humanity Re-Store... Got shit loads of paint. Now, finding the energy to put all that paint on my walls.

Outdoor siding and trim is going to be the worst... Trim I can paint over, no problem. The siding on the other hand needs to be stripped.... Who in their right mind puts latex barn paint over western red cedar... *mumblestuff*

I went to our habitat restore....it sucked.....bunch of junk ya had to spend an hour routing through it...I bought a sprinkler that doesn't work

 

There was a bunch of junk here too, but good stuff was mixed in...

 

habitat restores are hit or miss. if you can hit one closer to a rich neighborhood your chances are better at finding good stuff.

im up to my eyeballs in unfolded laundry. so as im folding, im stashing. people cant dirty the clothes if they cant find them. muahahaha. and my blister (from digging those potatoes) is less hurty today, so i have to finish washing dishes too. i have less than a week to cram in all the chores. no help, hubby is working, and the days he has off he has errands to run.

 

This one has a lot of ceramic tile, enough of some matching boxes that would let you do a whole project... None of it was "bad" colors, it was all stuff I could use in my kitchen remodeling job. I told them "Just wait till I come in to get some of those tiles"... I had just bought about 10 cans of paint and some misc stuff.

They have some really good French door sets I might grab too...


Going to visit Dad tomorrow, Hope to check out the one over his way... That one should really have some stuff... His area will be better than the one I went to today.
