Thanks so much. I got 3 of 3 jobs I interviewed for, and I never got to start a single one of them. Two bailed on me, and I declined the other.
So I'm desperate to find a new company to work for.

Maybe that was an omen and something better is going to be next. It often happens that way. If they bailed on you then it would probably not have been the best place to be.

I really think that things come when they should, so now is a good time for that.

I am doing great and life is pretty darn good. Can't ask for much more in life. Thank you for asking!

Made a ton of food and now i'm to full to eat it, so i'm going to try and smoke some weed again... it'll make me hungry lol but if I get another headache again, with that pressure-feeling in my head, I'm going to stop smoking for a while... I don't know what causes it, so it's weird... Plus its not enjoyable in the least

the potatoes i planted were just store bought russets that i forgot about, they sprouted right through the bag. i didnt want to waste them, so i stuck them in the ground and crossed my fingers. they were slightly sweet, very tender. i didnt cook the tiniest ones. but oh man they were delicious.



there is a store here called sprouts, its like a whole foods, but affordable, like a regular grocery store. their meat is incredible. we picked up a tomato, delicious. i normally HATE purchased tomatoes. im so excited to keep shopping there. 1 chicken breast feeds all 3 of us + leftovers, because the flavor is so THERE. i want to grow so much food, because its so nice to TASTE what its supposed to taste like. i have a pork roast from them i will probably cook tomorrow. it looks like steak, and i have NEVER seen pork like that. drool!

i will eat fast food, but i dont find it satisfying for long. it is full of fake and altered flavors. i would rather make my own whenever possible. real food is going to make a difference, and i think it will eventually fall to backyard growers to support not only themselves, but as many other people as they can. we shouldnt have the best access to the worst food. i will be drying and preserving excess, giving away a lot fresh (or for donations) and saving and distributing seed.

and i have decided that if city council doesnt want to "allow" me chickens, i will build my coop and get them anyway. fuck them. my neighbors are on board, i can share the eggs, and i think my coop design is sound. it shouldnt be anymore stinky than the wafting of chemical fertilizers and raw horse and cow manure that wafts over the neighborhood when the wind is "right" wont be worse than dog shit after a rain and a hot day. the noise will not be more than my west neighbor's barking dogs, or my east neighbor's regularly shrieking child. or the motorcycles roaring down the street at 3 am. tides are changing anyway. people are learning not to trust mas-produced food. and the more people who have access to affordable home-grown organic food the more people who will grow their own, and share the excess, and ultimately start strangling the badness out of the system. if i am truly caring for 6 chickens, then some of my neighbors, eventually there is less demand for the abused cheap eggs. i dont think anyone enjoys seeing the way mainstream meat is currently raised. but not enough people are combating it in the way that works, by removing the "need"
