https://phys.org/news/2019-10-quantum-chip-smaller-current-setups.html They don't call it cheap, but that's the idea, is that its a stupid chip that can fit in a cellphone even. This is the first cheap consumer model I've seen on the market, but the EU has made quantum encryption a priority, and I expect to see more of these in the near future. The drawback with this one is that it isn't impossible to crack it, merely difficult as hell, while there are supposedly uncrackable encryption methods that have yet to come on the market. While they push this as new technology, the truth is the federal government has had something similar in their cellphones and laptops for ten years. Hence, the reason the EU decided public quantum encryption is the only answer.
The Chinese government has their own AI programs and chips, so you'll have to pay extra with the embargo.
