I'm thinking longview community college for a year cause I can go for free and my dad is about to get a $25k salary cut so it would def. help my parents out if I went there.
word - don't make money hinder you though. make sure you file FAFSA asap and find out how much money you CAN get because that may make all the difference i have some friends going to longview to play baseball there
damn.. 800bills.. here in minnesota you could have a 3bed with all your utils paid for that much.. unless you live in minneapolis/st.paul and their suburbs.. where it ran 1200/mo for a 2bed.. but here where i live.. average would be about 500/mo and it would more than likely include utils...
Just about anywhere in TX except for Dallas and wealthy parts of Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Job market is better than most states, cheap rent, cheap gas (but you need a car in this state), your dollar will go further here. Just some knowledge from a local. My $.02
Where I live isn't too bad (Cambridge).. if you're gonna live in England stick to the Midlands, the south is way way too expensive (apart from seriously dodgy areas of London like Peckham and Brixton)
damn!! 800 a month for a one bedroom?? come to baton rouge razzz!! a one bedroom is easily half that!! I payed 500 for a niice one bedroom with two huge livin rooms and a nice yard. you could prolly find a normal little one bedroom for 350-400...
Heh, I pay £350 ($500?) for one room in a shared house, although that includes bills.. this area is fucking ridiculous, but not as much as the south, like Cheltenham or Bath.. Methinks I'll move to Glastonbury, I'm sure I could convince some acid-casualty hippies that I'm really a figment of their imagination so they let me stay with them for free
