oh man i love walking up to these people and asking them if they know who they have on their shirt. Most of them don't even know.
In my backwater area there's not much of a problem with people wearing Che shirts. I wish there was, because even if they don't know who Che was or what he did, I think most of them at least understand that they're putting on something that is somewhat counter-culture. From there at least it would just be a matter of attempting to start a friendly conversation about it. Maybe they'd take it off after that or maybe they'd keep it on with a little more knowledge.
i know it's bloody disgusting how people just plaster ther faces on everything without knowing one shred of info on either of them.
Bob Marley was cool. But Che was a murderous bastard who helped usher in the tyranny of Communism in Cuba.
No. As opposed to the wonderful freedom, democracy, and trade that almost every other Caribbean island nations enjoy.
hAve you been to the real parts of the islands? Not tourista land.. and can anyone say Papa Doc and Baby Doc? Aristeide? yeah.. freedom... to be shot like dogs.
Let people wear what they won't to wear, its their choice. If they choose to in their on ignorance then shame on them, if you let them STAY in their ingnorance then shame on YOU.
i too wear che on my shirt... but i mean the guy would probably be so pissed off knowing how badly hes been sold out by capitalist companies... i guess thats the final irony lol
