I'm on an official weekday tolerance break from my weed. And if you know anything about me this "official" means fuck all because I do it every week and smoke every day >.>

This sounds familiar. I'm starting a break this week too.
Been 'starting' this break for a while but now that I've bounced my codependent weed source outta my life, I think it's gonna happen this week. For really reals.

 

I find it really difficult. Really difficult. I go real moody. Absolutely no sleep. I went to a herbal store a little earlier and bought some valerian liquid extract. I'm going to try and make some sleep tea. If this fails I'm going to see a doctor for sleeping pills. I don't want to do it that way so I'm learning the alchemist home skill.
Anyone know what I should do with my valerian extract?

 

I have a touch of weed left for the weekend. It's probably too much for a weekend after a tolerance break but then I have a touch of scrap left that I'll eventually vape when my tolerance lowers and then I have one ounce of good weed left that I was to last into the new year because it's good shit and I get it for free and well I don't want to pay for someone else's shitty grass. =p

Is a 5 day break going to make a significant difference? 6 days actually from Sunday night - Saturday late afternoon/evening.. Hopefully.

 

I am so glad that I'm not the only one.

I don't trust herbal medications that much so I don't have much advice there.
I'm packing some ZZZquil.

Are there any cats around? The only animal I know that would eat on something (like a squirrel) and then leave it partially eaten is a cat. shhhh don't tell anybody I said that.

I've never dealt with valerian extract. I do have several kinds of tea - which are not cheap - and they are for sleep, "being calm" (lol). However, at different times I have taken capsules/pills of valerian root and another otc sleeping med with valerian as just one of the ingredients, with chamomile and melatonin. The valerian I've bought has a very distinctive, foul odor, and that's putting it mildly. What does the extract smell like?

I have smoked huge amounts in my life and I remember the time(s) I would get a break (self-imposed or not) as falling into the character building catagory. or in other words not fun in any way shape or form...

But you'll be okay and I'm also a Nyquil drinker at times.

 

yep! I think im finally getting sick of it though.

 

They've thankfully made Zzzquil for that. I think they clued in that people were using the cold stuff as a sleep aid and just made a straight up sleep aid without the decongestants and such.

 

you're right! I'd really forgotten about seeing that stuff.

Honestly, I just go automatically for the store brand cheaper stuff for sleep and cold in the event I get it anymore. But I remember seeing it and wondering if it would be as good as what I'm used to.
