my son is trapped in the bathroom. doorknob broken. i have the screwdriver, he has the screws on his side. screen doesnt come out of the bathroom window. i dont know what to do. i might be able to tear apart the side facing me, but it will take awhile.

i really dont want to have to call the authorities. what a pain in the ass.

i pried it open with a big screwdriver. took the doorknob out. all better. hinges are on the inside. i need a drink, lol

 

you remind me ML I need to put a new deadbolt on the door, I don't trust the current..

I want a deadbolt above the door handle and below. This door from the early 70's.. the door knob bolt needs to be 6inces.. and the door handle is shit and those replacements as they are not commonly made, this door is not even standard size in width lol.. they are $60 and I would get a deal...

or I get a dead bolt at 1/3 the price and it works better than a new doorhandle lock.

easy to install.

The other door is all glass, but its 6 feet from my window..so I trust my dog and the fact ive woke up to anything here..

every bathroom door lock ive seen had a small hole in the outer handle...you push a pick or small screwdriver in and it unlocks
