I get 30 those baby xanax a month, dont really use them. right now I have about 200 of them.

 

Yeah I get 30 x 0.5mg clonazepam each month, but I only use a couple of them, sometimes none. I should get my prescription transferred to the pharmacy up here and get a refill though, otherwise it's going to expire.

We've started using a whiteboard in the kitchen to plan out our meals, because we tend to plan them and then completely forget what we decided on (I blame the weed, but she has no such excuse haha).

What do you think the potential problems working at a porn shop might be?
There's one hiring close to me (I've never even been in there). And I think there could be some benefits to working there. I hate my job right now. I could make just 50 cents less per hour there for way "easier work" but I don't know if I would even be cut out for it.

Main problems I can think of are having a chuckle at what people are buying or asking for and not knowing the answers to their questions because I'm not even a little pervy and not into porn.

I mean I'm pretty sure I'm not even gonna try for this job, but I'm curious what anyone else thinks might be the hazards or whatever.

 

Stigma from family and friends about the job would be one thing. You're also probably going to have to put up with a lot of pervy comments from gross, lonely dudes.

 

I worked in a porn shop for some time.

Generally the customers are pretty decent but my location was not in a bad part of town. Mostly uni students and the geriatrics. You do get some funny stories.

See what their security is like. We had no camera and covered windows and no personal alarms....which is part of why I quit. One of my coworkers got slashed.

It can be fun at first. It was certainly the easiest job I've ever had. But after a while you really kinda get sick of being around blatant misogyny. Whore, slut, cum dumpster bimbos part 3...it gets to you after a bit.

Only real perk is product at a discount. The markup on that shit is stupid. Our discount was cost +20%. Buy a $60 vibe for $20.

 

Not worried about stigma at all. Not really worried about the comments, but idk what the most professional way to deal with them would be. I imagine trying to pretend they all had Alzheimers and couldn't control themselves might help.

I am concerned about physical harm for sure. I think I'd want to do a day shift. I expect you'd get the cooler clientele at night, the young couples and such and mostly old, jobless pervs in the day, but it just seems less likely to see a weapon brandished in the daylight hours.

 

OMG that looks good...particularly Friday and Saturday - today and tomorrow?

I love roasted red peppers. Although roasting them/peeling & deseeding is a pain in the butt. lol

That board makes me hungry, or maybe its the firecrackers...

plus alcohol and weed, because after spending the whole day studying i need to shut down my brain somehow, haha. i'm thinking rum tonight, and red wine tomorrow.

 

keep em in the freezer if you dont use them. extends their life ..but I dont think they diminish that much, I found a 2mg it was least 5yrs old and still packed a punch.

 

i hate people that offer half of asking price...gtfo

hmm, maybe i should do that. i keep them in my bedside table to take when i'm having trouble sleeping. i don't know how people abuse these things, they just put me to sleep. i prefer booze.

 

i think it depends on the store. if its a sleazy store, you can expect sleazier customers. we go to Fascinations, i even went in there with my mom once or twice when i was younger. it has these big clear things that let in the sunlight. its open, well-lit, friendly and knowledgeable staff. i could see working at a place like that. its like a sex-Macy's. its harder to be a pervy creep with bright lights on.

 

once upon a time , a friend and I were downtown unloading trucks for money. we didnt get many trucks til the end , this tomato truck. guy gave us a 100dollar bill. It was wee hours, like 5am we walked thru town to get change .. stopped inside a porn store., we wasnt even 18yrs old. we spent 60 dollars on nitrous to get change. they didnt care if we was teens.
