i dont like bananas. kinda sucks, since i know they are good for you. apples dont sound very appetizing for morning food. apples IN stuff, sure. or ON stuff. like waffles. or maybe a hot apple cider.

i think it has to do with jumpstarting your metabolism. i would guess that a lot of different foods would work to wake you up. probably not sugary cereals though. if you wake up and eat soon after, then your body HAS to start dealing with that food, turning it into energy. if its a longer-lasting energy source (complex carbs) then it sustains you longer. when i eat a real breakfast i am really hungry by lunch.

it snowed overnight and its flurrying again this morning. chilly, not frigid yet (thats usually in the spring) of course, being out of the pointylands means that i probably wont have to walk the boy to the bus in negative temperatures.

my dog needs a decent bed. she chews almost everything, and she scratches before she gets comfortable. i would like to make something, but i dont want to make something to be chewed. i have 99 problems, my bitch is one. lol

I used to build guitars and I taught at the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery back in 85-92... We built from the raw wood, no buying parts and bolting it together.

looks like a storm is blowing in. this is good, it will keep me inside studying.

does anyone have a good movie recommendation for tonight? i like comedies, but don't mind a good drama. not really one for horror or anything too gory.

Moroni "I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel: You lousy cork-soakers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes... like yourselves."
"You fargin sneaky bastage. I'm gonna take your dwork. I'm gonna nail it to the wall. I'm gonna crush your boils in a meat grinder. I'm gonna cut off your arms. I'm gonna shove 'em up your icehole. Dirty son-a-ma-batches. My own club!"

Ma Kelly "I know what you can't say. You wanna get laid. You wanna hump your brains out! Vavoom, vavoom, vavoom!"

definitely makes my top 10 favorite movies

It's pure gold. Gotta love a movie that still holds up this well, after all these years.

I was chatting with the dude that runs the place and telling all about you.......he said you would be a perfect person to open a library where you live

he offers anyone that wants access to all the forms and procedures etc to open your own guitar library

when word gets around you will be swamped with donations, trust me

they have so many donations they sell the over stock in a scratch and dent sale to raise more money

he even said he'd fly there if it was an exotic location

I told him ohio and he said ''fine that's exotic enogh for me'' lol

    lol

I should watch Grandma's Boy again - I watched it once about 5 or 6 years ago, but I was so stoned at the time that I don't really remember anything about it. I couldn't handle my weed as well back then, lol.

I'll check out the other one too, thanks!

    Getting nervous.
I haven't been to a poetry slam for about a year. I kept trying to go but I'd get bad anxiety about it and wimp out.

Tonight, come hell or highwater, I'm going. And I will be slamming.

Wish I had an ativan for right before the show.

I think that I remember you mentioning before that you were going to ask your doctor for a script for a benzo - no such luck? I find that my doctor is pretty willing to give them out in low doses. I have more ativan and clonazepam than I know what to do with.
