brought my 4 winter tires in for re-balance before putting them on and they only charged $20 and no bill because they had flat spots...they tried to tell me they were no good but i dont give a shit...they have deep tread and have served me well for quite a few winters...i just want them semi-balanced so they aint hopping down the road

my winter tires are skinnier..easier to do burnouts ...cant do it with the summer tires because theyre wide (255/55 )and i have a locking diff

My CD player broke a couple months ago. I do miss that since none of the radio stations play anything I want to listen to.

I do wonder about all these new fangled things the car companies come up with. Although my latest car has given me no problems cars do/can break down. I do wonder about some of the new things breaking down. Such as a car that parallel parks suddenly going over curbs or crashing into the car in front and in back before coming to rest in the parking space. I learned to parallel park before I got my license at 16 and I can still do it these many years later with no problem.

If you are trying to pass a slow truck on a two lane road you have to move to the left of center to see if there is traffic coming. Is the new car going to think that you aren't paying attention and prevent you from passing.

Now they have one that can prevent you from being in an accident two cars in front of you. I wonder what the car does if someone is going to rear end your car, speed up and rear end the car in front of you?

A couple nights ago they had a car that drives itself on the news. What does it do if the cameras can't see a stop sign because of over grown tree branches? I hope I am long gone before those cars actually hit the road.

I am sure my 2004 car has many wonderful features on it that I rely on but some of the new things they are coming out with are scary. I would prefer to be in control of the car instead of the car controlling my driving.

Sad to say I actually bought the Mr Bill toy for my Grace. I realized after I bought it that I bought it for me and not her. For one thing she would have torn that thing to pieces and there are too many small pieces that could be swallowed accidentally. It was one of those impulse purchases that I regretted almost immediately. Not to mention that Grace loves the squeaky toys and I realized they drive me crazy.

lol mr bill., some those toys have electronic parts in them. who makes these things with the intentions of killing our pets.. thanks china. Ill admit I get some toys like that for my dog too, then I take them apart before he does. wallgreens has a really good brand of dog toys. they have no plastic, eyes are stitched on fabric.

I am absolutely happy with my 2001 Crown Vic. That is as modern as I want to go.

I'm scared to be in these 2+ ton alien intelligence things that are called cars.

 

When I first got Grace I got her a few stuffed toys with the intention having them on hand for when one needed to be thrown out. Her first toy was a long dachshund toy that she had for three months before the seams ripped and the stuffing came out. When I gave her another one she tore it apart in about an hour. Turns out she loves when the stuffing comes out.

 

They talk about the eventuality of cars being able to talk to other cars. Maybe this already happens. I think that the cars will go against us and cause all kinds of mayhem. After all cars and computers do break down.
