It's rainy outside this afternoon. I plan to go do a little yard work. I LOVE working in the rain...well light rain anyway. It smells fantastic and it's a real good temperature.

Work is important for money but its important for more than that...for me anyway.

 

Yeah that's what I have. It's much cheaper and easier to deal with. The facotry navigation was a $1,000 option and when it breaks your screwed. But she thought it would be cool. The car she liked on the lot happened to have it and the sales man worked his magic. She got it when a Garmin would not have been that much cheaper. Like all technology it gets cheaper over time.

It's not a Honda part though so that's why it is no good. The rest of the car is fine and always has been.

Geek squad wanted $500 to do it. That is ridiculous. If I can't figure it out the Honda dealer will do it for $180.

 

my father a "otr truck driver" would roll over in his grave, if I used a gps..

 

watching expendables 2 out of the corner of my eye....there is a ton of action dudes in this movie.....and its purposely corny and quite funny

I was thinking about working on my Dave Stieb video project again.
I finally found some vid of the no-hitter.

 

It will be nice having 40hr work weeks now. I have not have a solid 40hr job since the last time I did construction.. 2 summers ago..

Restaurant work I never had more than 30 hrs. Sometimes 35.. and it was always minimum wage.. but im pretty sure I wont serve for many years if ever again.. did it for too many years..

 

for a thousand dollars you can buy quite a fucking system for your car


top of the line...........for the other 1500 you could buy 3 smartphones that all would have navigation?

 

ive a rand mcnally map in the car. it works when the battery dies too..

 

great fire starter too/ case you wanna burn one.. ..

 

not me...I have this new thing that kids of today just do not have

its called

a sense of direction

 

not everyone has a excellent sense of direction....

especially with girls you want to make sure they are safe and not lost out on the road..

just got back from applying to a job. hoping to hear back from them quickly. if i don't get this job, i'll go the self-employed route and see how that works for me.
