This will be the first year that we're sending out more than a handful of cards. More and more of my friends are ending up spread further apart to find jobs and such, so it seems like a good tradition to start up

 

went to get my snow tires from my storage place...got swarmed by giant white geese honking me like crazy....then had a staring contest with a bull...then saw a small buck with huge antlers in someones yard on the way home

 

Lol I like staring down cows. They make nice noises though all cattle around here wear really heavy bells around their neck and each bell makes a different noise so property owners kno their own cattle. I feel sorry for them sometimes but they have thick necks so they probably don't notice. Sometimes when I'm up in the saddle and everything becomes quiet it feels like I can hear those bell chimes for miles. It's really beautiful.
But when they give me the dirty brown cow look they get the dirty white Jocelyn face and I eat their souls with my eyes muahaha.

In other news, I'm actually 36 hrs into my t-break ^.^

I guess I missed the vacuum discussion eh?.....too bad cause I had much to add.....ftr I have a shop vac and not very much carpeting....I mostly swifter-mop the floors

 

just got a call from the office, the receptionist/nurse/whoever named about 4-5 things and said they were all normal. not sure if they are waiting on more tests but either way thats a good sign i guess. i guess thats one of my problems that i dont ask enough questions when talking to medical people. i think its because i prefer to think if they dont say anything bad then nothing can be wrong. kind of like an ostrich with its head in a hole.

i have 3 vacuums and only a couple of welcome mats. i got the vacuums back in the day when i had rugs and well i still have them. got the two extra through family that also didnt need them at one time when i still had a use for them.

i have mostly hardwood floors too. they will need replacing eventually. there is a lot of deep damage, and oddly filled areas. when we expand into the garage we will probably redo all the floors, that way they flow together. dont know what we will get yet, most likely still something flat. now, having sweepable floors, im kind of grossed out by what must have been lurking in the carpets my whole life. a rug can be shampooed, beaten, hosed off, and once undesired- replaced. they can be moved, even if its inconvenient, and can be cleaned around and under.

yeah. im sold on flat floors for sanitary reasons. you just cant get wall to wall carpet clean enough. the hair, dirt, small rocks, fur, crumbs, wrappers, string, pins etc etc are so much more obvious when you are sweeping. i have a dyson, (mothers day gift, lol) and when we had carpets i would vacuum twice at least. there seems to always be more grit and dust in carpet.

me and my cousin years ago rolled a joint one night using the bible.. we had no papers.. we saying 'this is fucking terrible, tear out revelations cause we about to do just that, if we get arrested tomorrow for unknown shit we know why lol..

we never did,, and the bible paper that's extra thin does work well...
