Englewood Man Holds Mom Hostage With Axe, Makes Her Watch Movies

Robert Tuttle, 22, busted up the refrigerator with an axe, then held his mother captive after almost hitting her with the axe.
He made her stay in his room and watch movies until the 60-year-old mother called the cops when Tuttle passed out.
Charlotte County Sheriffs report he was distraught over his father being in hospital and demolished his bedroom door, oven and refrigerator with an axe, then he menaced his mom, keeping her in his room.
Charges include false imprisonment, pot and paraphernalia possession and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
