I'm going to talk about TV shows...2 new ones.

OF COURSE you might know I'm often off on Thursday night when they come on. LOTS and LOTS of people like these shows - "The Millers" and "The Crazy Ones".

"The Millers" stars Beau Bridges and other people I should know, but Beau is the only one that I can stand on the show. The mother, who has moved in with her son, makes me wonder why there aren't more shows like Dexter. Matricide also comes to mind. :devil: Can you tell I despise her character? lol

"The Crazy Ones" have several really good actors - the main 2 actors being Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Geller. Even when Robin Williams is on a talk show I make sure and catch it since I usually LOVE watching him. I like SMG (Buffy) alright too. But something about this show just gets to the core of my nerves. In fact, its on right now...and y'all see where I am.

 

I am pestering my gf/friends for a Ferrari rental for my birthday. It is $600 for 4 hours and she is laughing at me saying that is ridiculous. She is definitely not a car person like me. But it would such a cool once in a lifetime thing to do. Maybe I can get them all to chip in. Maybe if I am extra lucky they will do the grand for 8 hours option lol. But that is excessive even to me.

no, i cant place a password in teh phone properly.. but I can view the forum on it. i basically got the phone for school and get rid of obama phone. now I can watch all Charlie Chan movies on the go.

 

my three aloe vera plants are getting crazy...

one of them was given to me to take care of.. its almost 17 years old.. around 40lbs... taking over the living room.. not sure what to do with this monster... some say cut the crazy parts, drain the stems, and use it for lotion..

 

smoking plants, rubbing plants on me, blowing smoke, damn who knew.

 

it puts the lotion on or it get the hoes.

yesterday I ripped out a small room filled with sheetrock, was a quick 2 hour job, dirty as hell. walk over to bakery. see a guy, whats up, its the beard man. what ya doin?, well im doing this. its more work than I got he says. well you don't save money buying coffee. he leaves, then I was flirting with the girl there, she has such an ass...no joke... hard not to flirt a little. walk away with last words. oh so crisp.

rarly walk in there, then ya do, oh they remember the one that rarely shows.

maybe she will get rid of her boyfriend, ha put him outta business.

i have terrible luck with houseplants, but maybe when my cats die off i can have some. maybe. im much better at growing things outside.

you can preserve the aloe for later use, i would cut it back and harvest the gel, then mix up a big batch of gel. break it down into little half-pint canning jars.

I'm fairly good with plants...BUT aloe. honestly, I've probably tried 10+ times to grow it, but it's not interested in growing for me. The FEW people I know that successfully grow it have told me they had to find the Exact. Right. Place. for this plant, and that it took them a minute (or 2) to find the "right plant" and get it growing good.

So, my dear Broony, you got the right vibes for it. I don't know about cutting it up and making lotion. Whenever I've gotten burned and could get hold of a piece of aloe I'd cut it open (store what I didn't use in the fridge) and put the inside gel on the burn. It worked ok.

One final note: My mother can talk the fire out of a burn, and when she does this it has always aided in healing the burn with no scar. There are a number of people that she has helped. :2thumbsup:
