I was bathing suit shopping yesterday at a sale yet....and they wanted 58.00 a piece so that would 116.00 for the entire suit....that is highway robbery

 

bathing suits are cheap for men....we aren't real picky

 

I've thought about joining the YMCA here...I'd have to get a new bathing suit.

The last time I went bathing suit shopping (several years ago), I wanted to cry right there in the dressing room. I HATE dressing rooms with their mirrors 6" from you. :ack2: Even when I back up, it STILL looks like I've grown (much) larger than in the mirror at home.

Anyway, the only kind of swimsuit this not-young lady will wear costs a bundle. gad...and there is not even 1 yard of material in the dang thing. Yeah, the ones I saw in the paper the other week that I thought would look good AND be "appropriate" started at around $110.

 

sounds like fun.. I could go to the city pool right about now..

 

I downloaded torch so I coud go on American websites....it comes with a media grabber so I can now record youtube videos and any media I watch such as Netflix movies

it has its own browser so I don't have to use it when I don't want to

at night i go naked...daytime is usually just whatever shorts im wearing or underwear

dont matter much anyway because i only swim when theres no people around

ill do lakes but no pools

i might make myself an old-fashioned bathing suit. they didnt always have spandex. ive actually considered making my own suit, but the fabric is expensive on its own, and a royal pain in the ass to work with. i hate the way bathing suits look on me. a 1-piece can look very nice, sleek, but they always have those hideous (on me) french cut legs. thanks, but my hips look lumpy enough without being exposed. boy shorts are not comfortable, bikini tops usually ride up, or down, or shift side to side. then theres the nipple-padding, so you dont inadvertently poke someone's eye out.

yeah. i think i will make old fashioned suits. i already look unattractive, might as well do it on purpose.

i wonder if i could get thrift store suits and rework the fabric.... hmmm.

 

I find the 'fitness' one-pieces have a regular thigh cut and good boob support I hate those high cuts too. I was asking at the pool today for tip on picking a good suit and they said the key is polyester and that anything else will get eaten by the chlorine.

Apparently there's also a place in town that gives you a 10% discount if you show your Y card.

 

one more reason i need a farm with a swimming pond. chlorine is icky. makes my hair so nasty.

i need to cut my hair today. its so broken at the ends, and where my ponytail sits. besides, physical manifestation of change and all that.

 

I couldn't stand those high-cut suits when I was young and (let's say ) in shape for them...always riding up your butt and pulling down the top. I thought I was about the only one that finds boy-leg shorts very uncomfortable. (glad to know I'm in good company, ML )

Women that can/do comfortably wear thongs have a different kind of butt feeling than me. (hope that makes sense...don't know any other half-way nice way of putting it )

In this town, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't charge you more if you showed your Y card.

thongs are terrible. i mean, i guess you dont have to pick underwear out of your butt if its designed to be there. i kind of like the regular cut thigh look, but with an overskirt. boy shorts have a seam in the middle, i cant imagine they are very comfortable for anyone. well maybe for people who dont move at all in them.

90% of the time i dont care how i look. i wear what is comfortable, and i stay in my house. it makes it more difficult to pick the right clothes when i do have to care what i look like.

 

ghongs are awesome...to see....not to wear...I love the thong stickin out of the track pants ghetto chic look
