i read that people who grow blueberries also grow mulberries because birds prefer them and will leave their money crop alone. i dont really like blueberries, but i might grow some. im hoping to grow more than the birds can handle :) but i also know that other people have honeysuckle bushes, and the birds really like them, thats why they are invasive. we have i have seen a couple of bluejays, we arent drowning in them though.

i want to experiment with high food production in suburbia. i have .24 of an acre. i want to see what i can do with it. and then ultimately, when i have my farm (etc) set up we will rent this place to a like-minded family.

i hope its a good fruit year. i need to get a grow light and start my strawberry plants.

i have a mulberry tree.....i dont have no story about i just heard it mentioned.

everyone i know says they hate them because the berries make a mess but its pretty simple, dont go under the tree and the berries seem to leave you alone.

My friend has a few papaya trees and if the fruit gets ripe and falls to the ground it is a bit messy

Most people do not know that you need to have a fruit tree that bares the same fruit in the area to cross pollinate or you will not get good fruit. So if you do not have any neighbours growing the same fruit you have to plant two trees.

My neighbour wanted to try a pear tree so we planted one also so they could cross pollinate. Worked. :)
