Day off today! I'm at school waiting around until the recital starts. My recital isn't for another three weeks!

I'm excited to go home and relax for the evening. The stupidity and lack of responsibility at my work is so tiring. They keep hiring people because the people they hire keep fucking us all over. I wish I could meet the imbeciles that DON'T get hired....
A coworker wants two shifts covered because he needs to do a school assignment and he told them that "school is a priority".
Fine. It can be a priority, you can take days off for school, whatever. But you can't use it as an excuse for other commitments! Just because your job doesn't mean shit to you, doesn't mean it's NOT a commitment...
He actually tried saying "I pay thousands of dollars for this:
What the fuck do you think I'm doing? I never miss a shift, either.
