Got called in to work a 2 hour shift today, so pointless... I get there and it was dead and i had nothing to do, i ended up just talking to my boss and others the entire time.. ah well, easy money..

pretty sure the law is 4 hours minimum...i used to get sent home early on one job at a restaurant ,,but they would still pay the minimum 4 hours because they had to by law

in ontario they have to schedule at least a 3 hour shift, but they can legally send you home early from it. at least that's what i remember from when i worked at mcdonalds 10 years ago.
