All judges should be like that....well pot should be legal but since it isnt, all judges should be like that.

So now that I've digested the events of yesterday morning/afternoon, I keep reflecting on my second game of the day and why or how it played out the way it did. After speaking to my miss about a jag shot, I really think my blatant "danke" after a awesome jag shot when opponent muttered "nice shot", my demeanor must have looked like it mean nothing to me and he sat down. And I think the moment he sat down, that was the game, because I think I intimidated him into playing badly.
Mind you the shot in question was fantastic. It did exact what it needed to do the way I wanted to. That was to come off a cushion and purposely undercut the pocket so my ball would hit theirs, fall in, and knock theirs away. And that was the clinching moment because I ran the table soon afterwards. I also made one good mid-long straight shot pot that made me look a lot better than I really am.

So I'm thinking how much does intimidation come into play on a pool table and I think it does because casting a doubt in your mind, like, I might only have one shot left. This guy is good. This girl is good. I really think it makes a difference in the outcomes. When your nervous your heart beat rises... That's not good for accuracy aiming. Like a sniper.

i was confronted with some racism today. moron has an issue with the spanish channels in the hospital. we have a high number of spanish speakers in colorado, they need to understand the news too. and we are all here with sick children, no child is worth less because of their parents choices. every topic he brought up i could run circles around him, my interests are so varied. but it wasnt worth arguing with a terminally stupid, racist conspiracy nut. im still here until the 21st at least. i live with these people now. they dont screen for crazy at the front desk. but i gave the nurses a heads up. i think people should learn to speak english too, but i should know more languages too. i can speak a little spanish, enough that i can figure out whats being said, i just cant conjugate for shit. i know a little sign language too, need more practice, im not fluent, but if you go slow i can get it, and i can make myself understood. but no one asks to be stuck in the hospital with a sick child. lots of people here are from other states, trying to get the best care for their babies.

i have no patience for stupid people.

in other news, tornado warnings right near the hospital. so that was exciting. Oz is about 9 and a half pounds. and he is doing good. hes eating like crazy, lactation gave me a confidence boost today, she said i seem to be doing everything right, its just growth spurts ate hard and it takes a couple of days for production to catch up to demand. we made a plan for me to pump once a day, in the morning, so that i can sneak off for lunch, or a walk, or a shower, and have milk for a nurse to feed him. i can also use it if he isnt satisfied after full feedings (hes tending to eat, break for a little, then eat again, demanding to be "topped off" which is exhausting)
