another day scanning the job boards. boreds.
decided if no one will pay me, i'll go volunteer again so when over and worked on a parade float that i've been involved in off and on for years. kinda nice to be welcomed (well ya, free work) and fed lunch for free. and maybe made a contact that would feed me some side jobs. getting too cynical to think much will come of it but never know.
apparently age discrimination is alive and well and even nearly blatant these days.

heh, that's my only income atm, couriering parts and court filings. used to think it would be fun to get paid to ride a motorcycle. well, the riding part is fun, courthouses and lawyers, not so much.
