Knee's a weird beast... you could have torn something in there or busted the knee cap. They don't like to heal on their own, I know as mine are shot to hell and back.

Hopefully got a little bit of weed arriving tomorrow.I've paid my money upfront.Just waiting for my friend to come through.Plan on going to the local park and taking the river walk and look at the ducks. Then at the end of that walk there's a little pub by the river with a beer garden. Will pick up some strings for my Spanish guitar on the way back,as that is my only working "axe" at the moment.Had to sell all my gear due to debts. But I really don't give a shit about material things...Just want to be happy.

    Tell me about it...

I cracked my left knee cap when I was a kid.. now there's missing cartilage at the top. Right knee has a lateral tear in the meniscus. I still need to squat down for everything because my back don't bend.

For two days I've been messin' with the brick tile on that front stoop... My knees are screaming.

boat i worked on last month started acting up ..guy wanted to yank off the starter and i said no its better to bring the whole back home so i can check it out

turns out my idea was better than blindly getting starter rebuilt.....because the engine is seized

not my fault though...pretty sure...nothing i did to it could have caused that

Bummer, man.... What did you work on? <<< about the boat

Wood splitter blade will crack a kneecap just as well.

pulled out the iffy oil injection and switched it to manual mixed system

used all factory directions and parts plugs/block off plates to do it...weird thing is it was getting more oil the mix way so it should have been safer

guy said it ran awesome up until that day it wouldnt start...so i really think it was something else and not oil starvation

So, did he mix the oil with the gas?

    no...i did

and I taught him how but he never made it past the tank i did (big tank)

also i ran it with mixed before removing the injection just to be sure the lines were full of 100% mixed

the injection is normally 100:1 at idle and 50:1 at full speed ....so doing it manually give 50:1 all the time...

i guess ill never know for sure unless he wants me to inspect it more...but i hate working on boat internals itll be an autopsy rather than a repair

I can't squat. If I need to be down then I have to sit down. Then getting up is a real challenge.

I had meniscus surgery on my right knee about 5 years ago. They wanted to fix the "best" knee before doing a replacement of the left knee; also allowing me to age a few years and the knee staging to become worse. I think the knee was at a "2" back then.

    Hubby got canned...blah blah blah...no insurance...blah...blah...blah...

I'm now disabled and waiting on Medicare to pick me up.

Left knee is more and more screwed up. The osteophytes, missing cartilage and synovial fluid, have the knee all but immobile. The deformity of the joint has caused that leg to lengthen so even on "good" days I walk with a very pronounced limp.

If I had to guess, I'd say the knee is at "3" now, with "4" being the worst, wherein the joint would be immobile.

Today is my birthday,no kidding,I'm 43 and I probably need a hip replacement, but I'm playing for time, and I don't even know if that will fix it.(I had major hip complications in my early teens.)I'm pretty philosophical about it,but I really should get an X-ray and get a medical opinion.I have some pain most days, mostly when I walk, and I love to walk, but it's manageable.I guess you have to learn to pay for the highs in your life,of which I have plenty, with the lows,as some kind of cosmic deal with your maker.
