bathroom last remodeled 1972. pissy walls besides toilet. I only sanded that so much and coated it with liquid nail to give it texture. not like the piss wasnt enough texture. I just didnt want to sand there all day..

we almost got a miner's house for cheap, but between the lead paint (18-somethings, or really early 1900's) and the high likelihood of spider infestation, we passed. one was a livable house, with a non-updated house next door to be fixed up. i think the guy wanted $60-80K for both. oh, also didnt get it due to historical society requirements. that stuff is a bitch. they would rather see you let a house deteriorate than see it with modern double-paned windows.

thats why i want to build NEW old houses. insulation. proper wiring. decent windows.

sounds like MLove was quoting prices of houses that need a lot of work and improvements on them....

we still have some cheap property, but you have to know what to look for. some have problems you might not expect. and not everyone is cut out for mountain living. but its so pretty.

just looked up the two-fer we passed on, looks like someone did take it on and fix them up. threehundred fifteen Havilah st in central city. i almost lived there. and the maroon house next to it was all full of old lumber.

yeah, i would rather get something cheaper because it needs work, i just know lead paint is out of my league to deal with.

BBC planet earth is good TV when baked. I like nature anyway but somehow the two just fit. The thing I notice is the BBC America channel has allot of American shows and movies. Like half the time they have Star Trek reruns on, isn't that American? Patrick Stewart is English so maybe that is why.

Panic attacks all day today... fuck. I've been trying to write this essay all week but keep getting anxious. Emailed my prof and am meeting her tomorrow to talk about an extension, so that has taken a lot of the pressure off of me.

I thought I was finished with this shit.
